The importance of pasture to horses.
Horses are grazing animals and most horses meet their nutritional needs from cool-season grass pasture or hay.
Forages are an important part of the equine diet and more than 80% of horses have some pasture access. There are many benefits for horses grazing pasture compared to eating hay in confinement, including the reduction of unwanted behaviors such as bedding and manure eating, cribbing and chewing wood. St.Petersburg : Church of the Resurrection .
Progettata dall'arch. A.A.Parland e dallll'archimandrita Ignatij ( I.V.Malishev ) 1883-1907 .

The New Synagogue on Oranienburger Strasse in the district of Berlin-Mitte is a building of outstanding importance for the history of the Jews in Berlin and an important architectural monument. It was inaugurated in 1866. The remaining part of the structure is a listed building.
It was once the largest and most important synagogue in Germany and today is not only a place where Jewish life is practiced, but also a popular tourist attraction.

Today's Sunday is national mourning day, in Germany a public holiday to commemorate those who fell in the Second World War. therefore with these pictures I include the memory of the fate of the Jewish fellow citizens who were inflicted so much suffering in this period and who have an infinite number of deaths to mourn.

A fern (Polypodiopsida or Polypodiophyta) is a member of a group of vascular plants (plants with xylem and phloem) that reproduce via spores and have neither seeds nor flowers. They differ from mosses by being vascular, i.e., having specialized tissues that conduct water and nutrients and in having life cycles in which the sporophyte is the dominant phase. Ferns have complex leaves called megaphylls, that are more complex than the microphylls of clubmosses. Most ferns are leptosporangiate ferns, sometimes referred to as true ferns. They produce coiled fiddleheads that uncoil and expand into fronds. The group includes about 10,560 known extant species. Ferns are defined here in the broad sense, being all of the Polypodiopsida, comprising both the leptosporangiate (Polypodiidae) and eusporangiate ferns, the latter itself comprising ferns other than those denominated true ferns, including horsetails or scouring rushes, whisk ferns, marattioid ferns, and ophioglossoid ferns. Ferns are not of major economic importance, but some are used for food, medicine, as biofertilizer, as ornamental plants and for remediating contaminated soil. 19636

Vladimir Tatlin was a Russian artist and architect. After the 1917 Revolution, V.I.Lenin tasked him with replacing Tsarist monuments with ones expressing revolutionary ideals.
Tatlin’s proposed tower was an abstract iron and glass sculpture 400m tall (Eiffel tower is 300m). The tower's axis tilted parallel to that of Earth's.
The monument was to be the headquarters of the Comintern, the international grouping of Communist parties. A lower glass cube housing the Legislature would revolve once a year. Above that was the Executive in a pyramid rotating once a month. Above that, a cylinder would hold press and communications and revolve daily. The entire edifice was to straddle the Neva in Petrograd (St Petersburg).
One prescient feature was the surrounding double helix – Tatlin’s radial struts could almost represent its canonical amino acid bases! Had the existence and structure of DNA – the key to life – been known to Tatlin it would have been of immense symbolic importance.
Tatlin’s constructivist monument in one sense harks back to the 1890s of Eiffel’s France. In another it looks far forward to the twisted and otherwise non-rectilinear steel and glass postures of almost any present-day city finance quarters.
Tatlin’s Tower was never realised although he and students made a 4.2m high mostly wooden model in 1920.
The model pictured here is 1/42 scale and was erected in 2011 at the London Royal Academy. It was subsequently moved to the UEA Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Norwich. The Sainsbury Centre is in the foreground at right.

The Fallas of Valencia (Falles in Valencian) are festivals that go from the 14th (children's plant) to the 19th (cremà) of March with a tradition rooted in the Spanish city of Valencia. They officially begin on the last Sunday of February with the act of the crida (in Valencian; 'pregón or call', in Spanish).
Currently, this holiday has become a very important tourist attraction, since in addition to being classified as a festival of International Tourist Interest, in November 2016 UNESCO inscribed them on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. These festivals are also called Josefin festivals or feasts of San José, since they are celebrated in honor of St. Joseph, patron saint of carpenters, who was a very widespread guild in the city when they began to be held at the end of the nineteenth century, and which has preserved until today, given the importance of the furniture industry in the region.
The Castle was rebuild after it was decided to abandon plans to built a fortress ( a former Roman Castrum ). It was ,at the time ,one the biggest defensive fortification ever built on Portuguese territory ,indicating not only the size of the project but also the importance of the Order of the Temple .(Founded in Jerusalem in 1118 by Hugues de Payens ,a cousin of St. Bernard of Clairvaux ,with Godefroi de St. Omer .)
Fortress Battice was of strategic importance in the 2nd World War and consisted of miles long underground corridors.
At the end of this corridor was the corpse room in which the victims were laid out.
The Old City (Hebrew: הָעִיר הָעַתִּיקָה, Ha'Ir Ha'Atiqah, Arabic: البلدة القديمة, al-Balda al-Qadimah) is a 0.9-square-kilometer (0.35 sq mi) walled area within the modern city of Jerusalem.
The history of the Old City has been documented in significant detail, notably in old maps of Jerusalem over the last 1,500 years. This area constituted the entire city of Jerusalem until the late 19th century; neighbouring villages such as Silwan, and new Jewish neighborhood such Mishkenot Sha'ananim, later became part of the municipal boundaries.
The Old City is home to several sites of key religious importance: the Temple Mount and Western Wall for Jews, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Christians and the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque for Muslims. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site List in 1981.
Traditionally, the Old City has been divided into four uneven quarters, although the current designations were introduced only in the 19th century. Today, the Old City is roughly divided (going counterclockwise from the northeastern corner) into the Muslim, Christian, Armenian and Jewish Quarters. The Old City's monumental defensive walls and city gates were built in 1535–1542 by the Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.

The Castle of Nozzano is a medieval castle that was an outpost of the Lucca defensive system. A position of great strategic importance, straddling the heatedly contested border between Lucca and Pisa. Originally, the structure was in wood and it was first destroyed by Pisa twice. It was rebuilt for the last time in 1395. The current building dates back to this reconstruction. The castle was used until the late 1500s to control the boats along the Serchio river, then its strategic and military importance declined.

Mothers teach us a lot, don't they? They teach us tolerance, they teach us patience along with acceptance (at least hopefully most do), they guide us through difficult times and teach us coping skills, how to become independent with the tools we need in order to live on our own.
They teach us compassion for others and how to show kindness to all living beings whether feathered, 4 legged and furry or the 2 legged kind that can sometimes be difficult.
I could go on and on with this list but it would take too long. This is a tribute to my mother who passed away on this day in 1994. She was way too young and I really would love it if she was here still today. But we will meet again someday and it will be a wonderful reunion that I have faith will happen.
Love you mom.
In this photo, mom is in the middle and her two cubs were doing their best to engage her in some rough and tumble play in the middle of the river. She was engaging them a bit but I loved this photo, even though her back is to the camera because you can see how each cub has a paw on mom's back. They really wanted her to play
Cherish your mom if you still have her.

Xàtiva is a city in the Spanish province of Valencia and is the birthplace of two popes. Xàtiva is the Valencian name for this city, but in Castellano this city is called 'Jativa'. This city is located in a beautiful area of hills, vineyards, orange groves and cypress trees on the northern slopes of Monte Vernissa, a two-peaked hill topped by the castle of Xativa. This castle consists of a double fortification divided between the older "Castillo Menor" small castle, built on the Iberian and Roman remains of the site, and the more recent "Castillo Mayor" main castle, built during the Middle Ages. It is located at an altitude of 310 meters above the modern city. The walls mainly date from the period during the Arab occupation. The fortress is strategically located on the ancient Via Augusta road that leads from Rome over the Pyrenees and along the Mediterranean coast to Cartagena and Cádiz. Although the town has expanded in recent years, there are still many old quarters and beautiful medieval monuments to be found. It really is such a small town that you can enjoy as a Spain lover!
One of the most beautiful towns in Spain, Xàtiva is defined by its delicious gastronomy, fascinating history and beautiful naturescapes. The Xàtiva castle is divided into two zones, the so-called Castillo Menor and Castillo Mayor. While the first is pre-Roman, Iberian and Carthaginian, the second is a Latin foundation. The importance of the Xativa Castle lies in its strategic location, being near the Via Augusta, the Roman road crossing all of Hispania Province from Cadiz via Cartagena, on the Mediterranean coast, through the Pyrenees and ending in Rome. The castle therefore had the function of monitoring and protecting the Roman road. Currently, the Castle is a site of Valencian heritage and is managed by the city of Xativa.

It's not simple to say
That most days I don't recognize me
That these shoes and this apron
That place and its patrons
Have taken more than I gave them
It's not easy to know
I'm not anything like I used be, although it's true
I was never attention's sweet center
I still remember that girl
She's imperfect, but she tries
She is good, but she lies
She is hard on herself
She is broken and won't ask for help
She is messy, but she's kind
She is lonely most of the time
She is all of this mixed up and baked in a beautiful pie
She is gone, but she used to be mine
It's not what I asked for
Sometimes life just slips in through a back door
And carves out a person and makes you believe it's all true
And now I've got you
And you're not what I asked for
If I'm honest, I know I would give it all back
For a chance to start over and rewrite an ending or two
For the girl that I knew
Who'll be reckless, just enough
Who'll get hurt, but who learns how to toughen up
When she's bruised and gets used by a man who can't love
And then she'll get stuck
And be scared of the life that's inside her
Growing stronger each day 'til it finally reminds her
To fight just a little, to bring back the fire in her eyes
That's been gone, but used to be mine
Used to be mine
She is messy, but she's kind
She is lonely most of the time
She is all of this mixed up and baked in a beautiful pie
She is gone, but she used to be mine...
The Blue Mosque's historical and architectural significance, as well as its cultural and religious importance, make it a central attraction in Istanbul. The inclusion of the mosque in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list underscores its value in preserving and showcasing the rich history of Istanbul.
The mosque's distinctive features, such as the central dome, semi-domes, courtyard, and minarets, reflect the classical Ottoman architectural style. The interior adorned with Iznik tiles and floral motifs in shades of blue adds a unique and visually stunning aspect to the mosque, earning it the popular name "Blue Mosque."
The strategic location of the Blue Mosque, situated across from the Hagia Sophia and near the former Hippodrome, creates a historical and cultural ensemble, making this area a focal point for tourists and visitors interested in exploring the rich heritage of Istanbul.
The inclusion of Ahmed I's tomb, a madrasa, and other structures within the mosque's külliye further contributes to its significance as a religious complex, showcasing the multifaceted aspects of Ottoman architecture and cultural practices.
Overall, the Blue Mosque stands as a testament to the grandeur and artistry of the Ottoman Empire, inviting both worshippers and tourists to appreciate its architectural magnificence and historical importance.

World Animal Day takes place on October 4 every year to draw the attention of governments and citizens to the importance of respecting animal life. Whether it's pets, wild animals or even farm animals, animals deserve better treatment.
Protecting wild animals, for example, means respecting their natural places of life. Respecting domestic animals means providing them with a loving living environment and making a commitment not to abandon them.
Finally, improving the living and slaughtering conditions of farm animals is a major challenge to be taken up at the present time.
If the date of October 4 was chosen to celebrate the animals, it is no coincidence. Indeed, October 4 is the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi (1182-1226), who throughout his life manifested a great love for animals.
He claimed that every living creature on earth, whether it was an insect, a bird or a pet, deserved respect. This is why Saint Francis of Assisi is considered a great defender of the animal cause and was instituted Patron Saint of environmentalists by Pope John Paul II.

This freshly emerged Antheraea pernyi is known by several common names, including Chinese Tussah Moth, Temperate Tussah Moth and Chinese Oak Silkmoth.
They are originally from southern China. Used for tussah silk (a wild silk) production, they have been distributed more widely across subtropical and tropical Asia. Unlike the domestic silkmoth, which is entirely dependent on human care, tussah silkmoths can survive in the wild if they escape from captivity. The colour and quality of the silk depends on the climate and soil.
This is one of the major producers of tussah silk. It was of commercial importance during the Han Dynasty and early Three Kingdoms era, about 200 BC to 250 AD.
This male has a wingspan of 140mm, is captive bred and emerged on 18.04.2015.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view and comment on my photographs – it is greatly appreciated and encouraging!

Even before COVID-19 companies have been taking time away from families! Are we not aware of the importance of the family base which exudes love, security, basic education, the time needed to listen, discuss and help? Money is not everything, it is a necessity but not God! Our children are losing a great deal in today's world, we have to come up with better solutions. Everyone from top to bottom should be involved in the successful work of a firm, all working equally, not just the chosen few who have been hired to protect those on top we have to pay attention to all workers whose family is suffering from lack of attention. It is time to put all of our families in front let's all work together to make it happen!

"Crete hosts an extremely rare and endemic variety of plane trees (Platanus orientalis var. Cretica) with about 50 trees being reported throughout the island. The characteristic feature of this variety is that it is evergreen, unlike the common deciduous plane trees.
One of these trees is of great historical and mythological value and has survived the centuries, since the Minoan era. This is the plane of Gortyna, which still stands proudly in the back side of the current archaeological site of ancient Gortys.
The plane was dedicated to Zeus and according to mythology, under this tree, Zeus mated with Europa after transferring her to Crete from [the Levant]*. This is where she conceived her children; Minos, Sarpedon and Radamanthys. Since then, the plane did not lose its foliage again. The importance given to this tree is very clear by the depiction of Europa under the tree in the ancient coins of Gortys."

I didn’t know the importance of this tower as we cruised past it on the Danube. I DID already know that not everything along the river was beautiful….“The Vukovar water tower is a water tower in the Croatian city of Vukovar. It is one of the most famous symbols of Vukovar and the suffering of the city in the Battle of Vukovar and the Croatian War of Independence, when the water tower and the city itself were largely destroyed by Yugoslav forces. Until the war, the top of the tower was home to a restaurant with a view over Vukovar, Danube and surrounding vineyards.
During the Battle of Vukovar, the water tower was one of the most frequent targets of artillery. It was hit more than 600 times during the siege.
Today, it has been converted into a museum with a restaurant. Traces of the war are still evident. Since 10 March 2021 it has been a Tower Member of the World Federation of Great Towers.” One more touching story to add:
“The flag at the Vukovar Water Tower was the most frequent target of the aggressors during the siege of the city, but it proudly waved every morning thanks to Croatian defenders Ivica Ivanika and Hrvoje Džalta. Under the cover of night, they raised the flag again, giving the people of Vukovar hope and a sign that the defense of the city has not yet given way.”

❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️
16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the SALVATION of everyone WHO BELIEVES: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel a RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD IS REVEALED, a righteousness that is by FAITH FROM FIRST TO LAST, just as it is written: "THE RIGHTEOUS WILL LIVE BY FAITH." (Romans 1:16-17)
16 KNOW that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH in CHRIST and NOT by observing the law, BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Galatians 2:16)
1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)
7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

----------------------------- JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------
SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST - ALONE!
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

Camellia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Theaceae. Camellias are evergreen shrubs or small trees up to 20 m tall. They are found in eastern and southern Asia, from the Himalayas east to Japan and Indonesia. There are about 300 species and around 3,000 hybrids. Their flowers are usually large and conspicuous, one to 12 cm in diameter, with five to nine petals in naturally occurring species of camellias. The colors of the flowers vary from white through pink colors to red. Of economic importance in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, leaves of C. sinensis are processed to create the popular beverage tea. The ornamental C. japonica, C. sasanqua and their hybrids are the source of hundreds of garden cultivars. C. oleifera produces tea seed oil, used in cooking and cosmetics. The various species of camellia plants are generally well-adapted to acid soils rich in humus, and most species do not grow well on chalky soil or other calcium-rich soils. Most species of camellias also require a large amount of water, either from natural rainfall or from irrigation, and the plants will not tolerate droughts. However, some of the more unusual camellias – typically species from karst soils in Vietnam – can grow without too much water. 34666
It is a unique monument of great importance, as it is the only Romanesque cathedral in Catalonia. Originally dating from the 12th century, although its current appearance is the result of a restoration in 1950. The complex includes the basilica, the cloister and the Museu Diocesà.
The cathedral that we can see today is the fourth of the known ones. The three previous ones suffered damage over time and were modified and rebuilt.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the architects Puig i Cadafalch and Pasqual Sanz Barrera were in charge of one of these reforms, but it was not until 1950 that a careful restoration gave it its current appearance. It is the only Romanesque cathedral in Catalonia and dates from the 12th century. Due to its ornamentation and the fidelity with which it has been restored, it is a unique monument of great importance.
The complex includes the basilica, the cloister and the Museu Diocesà open to the general public. The great cloister is made up of four galleries with decorated capitals, where we can find everything from plant motifs to monsters.
The museum collects paintings, goldsmiths, Romanesque virgins and other objects of sacred art from the bishopric of Urgell.

Richmond Park is London's largest Royal Park, covering an area of 2,500 acres. It is a National Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest, of both national and international importance for wildlife conservation.
Richmond Park was established in its present form by King Charles I, who in 1637 turned the area on the hill above Richmond into a hunting park for red and fallow deer. He enclosed the Park with high walls, an action that was not popular with the local residents, although he did allow pedestrians to exercise historic rights of way across it. To this day most of the wall remains, although some sections have been removed over the centuries and the remainder has been rebuilt and reinforced.
Legal action in 1758 by John Lewis, a public-spirited brewer of Richmond, confirmed the right of access for pedestrians at all times and frustrated attempts by the Royal Ranger to prevent such access.
The Park has changed little over the centuries and, although it is surrounded by human habitation, the varied landscape of hills, woodland gardens and grasslands set among ancient trees abounds in wildlife. This incredible environment has been created by centuries of grazing by herds of red and fallow deer.
Some features have been added to the Park. The Isabella Plantation is a stunning woodland garden, which was created after World War II from an existing woodland, and is organically run, resulting in a rich flora and fauna.
Richmond Park is a site of both national and international importance for wildlife conservation. It is London's largest Site of Special Scientific Interest, a National Nature Reserve and a Special Area of Conservation. The Park also incorporates the most important area of lowland acid grassland in the Greater London region. Lowland acid grassland is a priority habitat in the Government's Biodiversity Action Plan.
The Park is a top UK site for ancient trees, particularly oaks, which have great historic and wildlife importance. The trees and associated decaying wood support nationally endangered species of fungi, as well as a remarkable range of nationally scarce invertebrates such as the cardinal click beetle and the stag beetle. Over one thousand species of beetle (more than one quarter of the British list) have been recorded in the Park.
Parliament Hill colloquially known as The Hill, is an area of Crown land on the southern banks of the Ottawa River in downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Its Gothic revival suite of buildings serves as the home of the Parliament of Canada and contains a number of architectural elements of national symbolic importance. Parliament Hill attracts approximately 3 million visitors each year. Originally the site of a military base in the 18th and early 19th centuries, development of the area into a governmental precinct began in 1859, after Queen Victoria chose Bytown as the capital of the Province of Canada. Following a number of extensions to the parliament and departmental buildings and a fire in 1916 that destroyed the Centre Block, Parliament Hill took on its present form with the completion of the Peace Tower in 1927.
Inle Lake lies at an elevation of 884 m (2,900 ft.) 425 km (264 mi.) north of Yangon in Shan State, Myanmar. Covering an area of some 116 sq. km (44.8 sq. mi.), its depth ranges from 1.5 m (4.9 ft.) during the dry season (November to April) to 3.7 m (12 ft.) during the rainy season (May to October). The lake was included in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves in 2015. In 2018, it was designated a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance. As many as 20,000 gulls spend the winter at the lake after migrating from their summer range as far north as Siberia.
