Former Danish locomotive 1427 leads fellow import 1431 and "home grown" 4703 through Clyde at the head of 8166N container freight from Bathurst (Kelso) to Cooks River. With recent news that Qube have purchased IRA, it remains to be seen if the locomotives new owners will tolerate their high failure rate.
This train crossed an empty SSR/Centennial Coal train through the platform hauled by triple CEY Class locomotives - I put my money on the shot of the MZ's, and they came through for me, with only seconds to spare before they were obscured by the passing coal train.

This location opened on May 11th, 2002 and closed in March 2020. It operated as a Spirit Halloween in August-November 2020 and became a Five Below on September 24th, 2021.
Chinese steamer 8419 crosses the Des Moines River. The best smoke show they put on was way before the middle, but I'll take what I can get! This steam engine was the last one built in China in 1988, and sent straight over to the US, hence the American and Chinese flags at the front. Even our steam engines come from China....AUGH!!!!!

In the 1960's Turkish immigrants began flowing into the Netherlands to
satisfy the region's high labor demand. Accepted into country under
the pretenses that their presence would be temporary, once the
... immigration program was terminated in 1973, many of the remaining
Turkish laborers became isolated from their Dutch neighbors.
Differences in religion and economic standing have made assimilation
into the contemporary Dutch culture difficult. The halved fig emulates
the crescent in the Turkish flag was applied on the wall of the former
