Seen in St Paul's Bay is one of the Low Floor Buses Association's MCV Evolutions. This one is operated by Cancu Coaches, and is an import from the England (United Kingdom), previously being registered AE06 XRR,

Cancu Coaches/Supreme Travel's EPY 006 is seen on Xatt Il-Pwales, San Pawl il-Baħar. EPY006 was new in August 2006 to Eastbourne Buses, as their AE06XRR (63). In December 2008, Stagecoach South East took over the operation, and re-branded it Stagecoach in Eastbourne shortly after. Upon the time of purchase, there were 10 MAN/MCVs in the fleet. Under Stagecoach ownership, XRR gained the standard livery and the fleetnumber 39633. Upon arrival in Malta, it operated for Lepeirks Travel on Gozo. After arriving, it gained tinted windows, an air con unit and airhorns. It is a MAN 14.220/MCV Evolution.

These creatures are called “Lantern Flies” They are an import from our friends in China. They destroy a number of tree species, grape vines, and some other assorted plants. The county I live in has the dubious distinction of being the very first place they were discovered several years ago. They are prolific breeders, will not be eaten by birds or other insects, and have spread to a number of other locations including some states. And there isn’t a tariff on importing them.

Metroline is part of the Singapore based Comfort DelGro group, and operates over 1200 buses in North, North West, West, and Central London, employing nearly 4000 staff.

AV39 (Previously SBS 7251) is a Volvo Olympian with 10.5m Alexander Royale bodywork, and was acquired from fellow subsidiary SBS Transit based in Singapore in August 2000. It entered service the possible Spring for evaluation as a possible replacement for the ageing MCW Metrobus fleet. The idea was not pursued and no more examples were acquired.

The bus was initially allocated to Willesden Garage before moving on to Park Royal Garage, where it normally worked the 266, which is as it is modelled here. It's last base was Harrow Weald where it was used on contract work.

After sale it passed to Ensign (dealer) who converted it to single door, retrimmed it (Using the 'D Stock' moquette as used on the District line tube stock and the Titans and Metrobuses) and sold it on to Veolia Group who used it in Cardiff.

The model depicted here is a CMNL release and is posed on a home made diorama.

I got a question for ya ... what does this city know about luxury? ... huh?

What does a town that's been to hell and back know about the finer things in life? ... well I'll tell ya ... more than most.

Ya see, it's the hottest fires that make the hardest steel ...

Add hard work and conviction and the knowhow that runs generations deep in every last one of us ... THAT'S who we are ... that's our story.

Now it's probably not the one you've been reading in papers, the one being written by folks who've never even been here and don't know what we're capable of.

'Cuz when it comes to luxury, it's as much about where it's from as who it's for.

Now we're from America, but this isn't New York City or the Windy City or Sin City and we're certainly no one's Emerald City ...

This is the MOTOR CITY ... and THIS is what we do ...

The Import/Export Compound in Munich, Germany.

It was founded in 2010 as a space for unlimited exchange and communication beyond social and cultural borders. It describes itself as a “cultural and multifunctional canteen” and is one of the beating creative hearts in Munich. You can visit concerts and exhibitions there and of course find some very interesting graffitis.

I really like fresh asparagus. It is not always available but when it is, it is invariably imported from Mexico.

Real fleet problems in a fictional fleet!

Lilford Traveller had standardised on Atlanteans from the late eighties after a disastrous start with Nationals. The main suspects were former NBC Park Royal bodied vehicles with some former Greater Manchester Standards operated. The former come from the Britbus stable and they weren't the best models quality wise. One was found to have structural defects and a replacement was needed quickly.

A former Singapore example (latterly with Citybus Hong Kong) was sourced cheaply and added to fleet strength.

The story goes that when Citybus had finished with them, a small number were brought to the UK to be used on sightseeing work by Guide Friday but was never implemented.

In reality, the actual buses were supposed to go to South Africa but due to high import taxes they languished at the docks in HK until they were eventually scrapped.

This one depicts a 1981 chassis and has been given a 'W' suffix registration.

Yep... imported leaves here. My little girl had a bit of a collection from one of our trips to the west side of the mountains. A while before Christmas I told her she had to release them into the wild.... so she did, I followed with the camera. I have nothing new to post so I am going through some stuff I never did anything with. I have to say our weather here just sucks... and normally I am such a winter girl ! However, I like it in the form of cold and snow, we are having so much rain and our snow is soupy sloppy stuff.... ugh ! My thoughts are with all of the people dealing with the flooding right now. My hubby was one of them. He is fine and on higher ground .

I have never seen it with an open sign, looks like it has been closed for awhile. I don't like this building, to me, it's an eyesore.

I used HDR creative feature and changed to B&W. It looks like even more grungier now.
