Inside the cloister at Jerpoint Abbey you can see the scale of ruin of the place. But also with a squint of an eye and a little imagination you can also see how magnificent it was in its day. And even hear the faint sounds of monks going about their day.
God created the whole Earth and all of the beauty that is found across it, but Arches National Park is just one of those places where you can truly see just how beautiful and creative of a mind that God has! Sometimes I wonder why He made places like this, so many of the geologic features here almost seem random or impossible, but who am I to think that man with a finite mind could ever understand God who has an infinite mind!
Imagination is the beginning of creation.
You imagine what you desire,
you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will.”

Pure Imagination
Gene Wilder
Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin with a spin
Travelling in the world of my creation
What we'll see will defy explanation
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world?
There's nothing to it
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there you'll be free
If you truly wish to be
12 Years.
12 Years, I’ve been photographing Garie beach, and for 12 years, I’ve been turning right, and heading south along the beach, to the huts.
Today, I turned left.
What a beautiful place North Garie headland is. Photographed it a gazillion times from a distance, but today, I went there.
That Rockpool is huge. I had a 20mm wide prime lens on the front of the camera, to get it all in the frame. A great spot for a swim on a hot day Id say.
Loved North Garie, and… I’ll be back.
Hope you like “Pure Imagination “
Cheers, Mike
This is an image I took May 2020 It's smoke rising from an incense stick and a single flash from the right. Using nothing more than some dodging & burning to highlight the areas I want you to focus on, then adding a white strip to mimic the light source this is what I came up with
What do you see?
...Make possible travel to anywhere without leaving home <3

Weeds along the roadway
When I exited the car to shoot some pics of a grain facility I saw this weed and rusty rod that caused me to "imagine" a
palm tree.
Fireworks at Epcot! Great show! A must see! :)
That's a simple shot, sure, but i was trying the ISOs of my new stuff. A D300s. I enjoying too much. Here a good shot (sharp/colors/details) with a ISO 800.

A Slinky is a toy pre-compressed helical spring invented by Richard James.
It can perform a number of tricks, including travelling down a flight of steps end-over-end as it stretches and re-forms itself with the aid of gravity and its own momentum.
I see some other objects in them... LOL
My imagination on the loose again...

it's kind of white out here, aka winter conditions ...so could not find a "real" flower. This brooch in the shape of a flower has to suffice. You can see that it is "real" plastic, as birefringence is responsible for the phenomenon of double refraction whereby a ray of light, when incident upon a birefringent material, is split by polarization into two rays taking slightly different paths.

The Sympathetic Imagination of mine imagines a world where all political leaders actually have integrity and all human beings are treated with kindness. Does that mean we transcend who we are as people and escape some genetic tendency to be cruel and hurt others? I don't know...all I know is that you live better when you are kind and you will always be miserable when others around you are persecuted.

It pays to look up!
I saw the wing of an angel, a doggy's profile and a colourful phenomenon, a funnel cloud.
Have a lovely day and thank you, as always, M, (*_*)

The Moon's surface shows obvious evidence of having been affected by impact cratering.[18] Impact craters form when asteroids and comets collide with the lunar surface, and globally about half a million craters with diameters greater than 1 km can be found. Since impact craters accumulate at a nearly constant rate, the number of craters per unit area superposed on a geologic unit can be used to estimate the age of the surface (see crater counting). The lack of an atmosphere, weather and recent geological processes ensures that many of these craters have remained relatively well preserved in comparison to those found on Earth.
The largest crater on the Moon, which also has the distinction of being one of the largest known craters in the Solar System,[19] is the South Pole-Aitken basin. This impact basin is located on the far side, between the South Pole and equator, and is some 2,240 km in diameter and 13 km in depth.[20] Prominent impact basins on the near side include Imbrium, Serenitatis, Crisium, and Nectaris.

One day, while my sons were playing joyfully in the park, I captured this photo to freeze a moment of their innocent excitement. The giant wooden creature became their imaginary companion, and I wanted to portray their playful energy from a different perspective. By focusing on the creature’s eye and letting the background blur into the laughter and motion of childhood, I hoped to express the wonder and curiosity they were feeling, a glimpse into their world of pure, unfiltered joy.
