Pre-varnished birthday present for a friend of mine. Sheet music decoupaged over wood, painted with watered-down acrylic paint, wood burned, with image transfers using the packing tape method. Quote and images from the movie "Waking Life"

I covered the fabric with the gel medium, give it a nice solid coat of medium. Try not to make it too thick or you may have problems getting all the paper off.
This is a close up of some book covers i have been making. The basis is an image transfer. This one has been heavily worked in to with pencils, free machine stitching and handstitching.
Week 4: Image Transfer
The left part of this journal (the words) is a page out of a book that I used for an image transfer. I left some of the back page, and didn't transfer all of the words below so it's confusing, you can read some places and can't read others.

Created this piece for Carmen Torbus' class Spill It. I got way behind with the class but have finally finished my canvases!! I'm calling this on "The Bride" She just evolved. Painted it all with my fingers and painted over the image transfer.
