Just playing around with some name labels I bought today. They're all done with markers, with some old syllabus collaged on the sticker at the top, and a packing tape transfer on the sticker to the left.
This is a large polymer clay reversible pendant with silver metal spacer beads and a polymer clay closure, strung on buna cord. The front image is an original of mine, that was created in GIMP. The reverse image is a ghost image in gold.
Pendant and beads have been sanded, polished and sealed with acrylic.
The pendant tile measures 2.5 by 1.75 inches and is .25 inches thick. With the bail the pendant is 3 inches tall. The cord is 28 inches. The round bead on the closure has been secured with Gorilla Glue.

I've been experimenting w/ polaroid image transfers. This was done with type 669 film. I used the wet transfer process and used cold-press watercolor paper (140 lb. weight). This was my first of the day and also my favorite. They seem to get progressively worse for some reason. "Worse" meaning that more emulsion comes off in the process.

These are my first 2 attempts at using my new polaroid 195 and doing image transfers. I am really loving this process, but I'm not sure why the images are so yellow(eventhough I kind of like it like that).
Also I think the streaks are from not smoothing the film out with my hand after rolling it, but hey I like those too.
