Citroen 2CV Polaroid slide transfer. Not sure I should crop out the hand writing. Polaroid slide transfers are obviously more difficult and expensive with the diminishing availability of Polaroid film. I understand it can be done with Fuji film but in very subdued lighting?

Happy Valentines Day!

Today is my 12-year wedding anniversary. This image is a page from one of my photo journals with image transfer of proof sheet. The pictures weren't actually taken on our wedding day. A photographer friend took these of us dressed up a couple of weeks after the actual wedding because we eloped...and on valentines day no less - it was a bit kooky but we did it our way. We will not go out tonight to celebrate because the day is so over commercialized. Instead we spend it together as a family and prefer to wait a few days to go out to a nice quiet dinner.

I am so thankful for this man who puts up with me and loves me for who I am. He's a wonderful husband, father and my best friend. Happy Anniverary love.

Last summer I was in a thrift store in Ohio when I found a Brownie Hawkeye Flash camera. I had to have it - it still had film in it!

I developed and scanned the film and found these two photos.

Each of the images was printed on a laser printer and transferred onto a cradled board coated with clear encaustic medium. I enhanced the transfers with oil pastel, watercolor, and encaustic paint.
