Washing the horses at Appleby Horse Fair.
Shot on a Canon 30D, then printed to Polaroid 679 film via a Digital Palette CI 5000s and transferred to Moleskine water colour-paper - Scanned back to PS and converted to B&W.

Polaroid image transfers on a t-shirt. Type 669 film. This is the beginning of what I submitted to the t-shirt show. I had trouble w/ the emulsion running so I ended up cutting the images out of this t-shirt and sewing them onto a clean shirt. It turned out pretty well. I don't have a picture of the final shirt. Obviously to do image transfers on to fabric, it is best to do them dry, but I didn't quite get that process done before the show.
Polaroid image transfer. Original photo was taken around 2001, and the transfer done in 2002 or 2003. Original photo was taken with a Nikon FM3a on Fuji Provia slide film. Transfer done with a Vivitar Slide Printer and Polaroid 669 film onto watercolor paper.
Handmade by me! Floral image has been transferred onto white polymer clay. Earrings are finished with gloss varnish and silver-plated findings.
The second floor loggia in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (a replica of an Italian palazzo), in an image transfer. I was attracted to the light and to the zigzag pattern of the handrail. Hand-made image transfer using Polaroid instant-print 4x5 film (no longer available) and transferred in my darkroom using my enlarger and a 35mm color positive Velvia slide.
