8x10 Polaroid Transfer taken with an 8x10 camera. Self portrait from the days I had hair. Never showed this one because of the wrinkles around the eyes. Now I have those anyway.

2nd attempt at image transfer.
The bluish background clay for the image transfer was just scrap clay with glitter. I ripped it into small chunks and fed it into a coffee grinder and then mushed it all together and rolled it out. Coffee grinders or small food choppers are great for conditioning hard or crumbly polymer clay!

Two page journal spread for Orly Avineri's 2009 Art Journal Round Robin. It includes an gel 'skin' image transfer(of the eyes), stenciling, spray painting, vintage images, scrapbook paper and some Glimmer Mist for shine and grunge...
The polymer clay pendant was created by me, Lynda Moseley. It is a double layer image transfer of a vintage water lily illustration on a background taken from a print of Monet's Water Lilies. It was transferred to a Pearl Premo clay base layered on Gold Premo, which I added Ranger Stream, Bottle, Eggplant and Mustard embossing powder for texture and added interest.
I enhanced the pendant with caramel mosaic shell beads and various colors and shapes of turquoise and finished it with a gold toggle clasp.

I'm making some large beads depicting vintage bird illustrations on a taupe blend of Pearl, Gold, Alizarin Crimson and Ecru Premo clays treated with Ranger Copper and Weathered Wood Embossing Powders, which adds texture. I brushed all sides with a thin layer of liquid Kato clay then baked, sanded and buffed.
These beads are between 25 mm and 35 mm large.
Most images were made using a blender pen image transfer method. Scissors and small poster at the bottom came from Etsy.
Still a work in progress - I want to add a few more images.
This is my entry for the Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy's May challenge, the theme of which is "History/Historical Event."
My entry commemorates the ratification and passing of the 19th amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which finally gave women in this country the right to vote in 1920. It also honors the first women in my family who were legally able to exercise their right to vote, my Great Grandmothers: Caralie Douglas Medlock Stoney, Julia Elizabeth Craft Moseley, Cora Lee Taylor Page and Pezzie Hinson Forrester.
Lady Annabelle is a darling little girls long sleeve onesie with a vintage silhouette heat pressed on its front. A white ruffle trimmed with a dusty rose colored vintage lace and trimmd in black rick rack is an added feature for that girly girl look. Lady Annabelle is another addition to our "New Beginnings" collection of altered vintage inspired baby couture.
