Three wine gums which have been changed a little using photoshop. Visit my website at Euroshots www.euroshots.com
My very first "official" studio shoot with the lights...at the last minute another photographer had to cancel, so I took on the shoot with no preparation or practice on the lighting...set up and everything all on my own...a little overwhelming, I was very nervous about how they would turn out, but I am very happy with the results...she wasn't into props, so I thought I'd have a little fun with editing to bump it up a notch...I played around with the hue...what do YOU think?? Any advice or constructive criticism is always welcome!!
Dolphin that I did a little Photo Manipulation to for a midterm project. Thanks to www.flickr.com/people/27290769@N02/ for letting me use his photo.
Ahhhh! Well... :-)
One day, one Winter day I went out on the balcony and witnessed this amazing scene!....
Yeah...in my dreams!
OK, that's partially true: I did see those lovely trees covered in white, a little further to the right (I used a 6X zoom fuji camera), as if asking for something to frame, something special...romantic...
Of course! The photo of the statue by Rodin I had taken during the holidays in Paris!
That's how this composition was born :-)

This is Andrea, my proud male singing canary. A while back he was rooming with Viktor, a male zebra finch. They were an odd couple from the beginning. Andrea loves the curly-leaf parsley to death while Viktor would snack on the bread roll clipped on the grill all day. Andrea didn't like Viktor invading his space and would scream at him to Viktor's deaf ears, nothing like feather-fighting nor fly-kicking. Anyway, I decided to finally buy Andrea a new dig and get a female zebra for Viktor. It's been three weeks now. They are now happily separated. Andrea's back to his singing in the morning with matinees in the afternoon. While Viktor is busy fixing-upping and redecorating his old house with the hot chick in town, Hermione! Oh well...another episode in the soap opera, "As the Bird World Turns."
EXPLORED
Mushrooms in the grass. Post proccessing in photoshop cs3.
9 layers of picture + some special effects.
Storm Alberto left a few jewels in his wake. I added a background image from a transformed version of the main photo, for a little extra magic.
I followed the procedure, first, as outlined here: brilliantdays.com/archives/2005/10/how_to_create_a.php ,
and in the flickr Amazing Circles group: www.flickr.com/groups/amazingcircles/discuss/116859/
I Am using the basic wondrous polar coordinates transformations as beautiful in and of themselves, but also as starting points for grounding them in their origins and/or creating new relationships for them.
I started out with three bracketed frames.. merged with Photoshop's CS2's HDR function. Maybe too complex for the results.. hard to tell.. I find myself using the technique, then taking away some of the inherent range built into it, I think.. still, I Think it gives me more to work with in both ends of the brightness range, to start with, even if I do wind up with a fairly 'normal' looking result in the end.
Certain Projects was my special effects photographic lab for 14 years in San Francisco. The arrival of digital Photoshop replaced the need for traditional analog darkroom image manipulation.
My mom refers to flowers as "shining".
This is a series of treatments of a calla lily of hers that I shot back in the Summer. The original (not posted) was noise-ridden, so I ran it through one of the basic noise-reduction modes of Noiseware. The free "community edition" does a decent job, I think, leaving this smooth-toned subject rendered Quite smooth and yet sharp enough.
Pimped Picture 55c Removed colour cast from image then removed background and smoothed out the cut edges around the body to blend with the background so cut out visable then some burning in work to bring out shadow detail on the body then softened skin and cleaned up complexion also a little sharpening work done on the eyes and the stockings also enhanced body shape around the legs and arms to give a smoother more curvy appearance then hand drawn new background with floor area creating perspective to give a solid floor then added body shadows and additional lighting detail to give body the illusion of 3 dimensional belonging then added fill in flash to pull the eye into the models face then added several background marquee's to give shadow and depth to the image finally converted over to black and white with added film grain to replicate ilford 400 film and added a warm brown tone. This was done as part of flickr group Pimp My Pixels.

Two of the six photos in this (evening and night)
weren't taken today... I'll not have time the rest of the week to create the image, so I hope that's ok.
Using the free GNU Image Manipulation Program, layers were created to provide a more realistic "on the bridge" shot for our music video spoof, "Moves Like a Vulcan".
Two years ago now I made a little Processing script to average sets of photos, and a few weeks before that I started a photo-a-day project, where I was careful to get as close to the same angle as possible.
Here was year one:

Getting all political and arty here! People who put on a facade to impress other people really piss me off, so I've employed a sense of satire and an iconic happy face to undermine them and make people think : )
