I saw this beautiful mermaid at Barra Grande beach, in Piauí.

A mythical half-human sea creature, with the head and torso of a woman and the tail of a fish.

Of impressive beauty, with flowing black hair and iridescent scales that shone in the sun.

His image was reflected in the mirror pool formed by the low tide at dawn.

A fisherman came by and said:

- My dream is to marry this Mermaid!

Vi essa linda Sereia na praia de Barra Grande, no Piauí.

Before and After versions of this picture. You can view many

other before/after examples in this video (YouTube) and also

I think it can be useful to share this with you to show how I'm

usually editing my photos... Most of the time, I'm simply trying

to remove all the little imperfections from the original pic and I

also spend some time improving the lights, tones, colors and

the general composition of the photo.

I really always want to preserve the "essence" and "spirit"

of the original shot. All the edits I do in post-production

are only meant to express an idea or a message (usually

explained in the title or description of my posts on Flickr).
