A little like Snow White, right? Here she waits, the most beautiful dreams arise – until someone comes and frees the sleeping from the apple slit ...

I could not resist trying out that little coloured glass that I found recently. And then everything is reflected in it, if she stands upright. Inspired by the last Macro Monday, I took a printed picture – without a text, but with a portrait ...

However, I was not sure if the closed eyes here (quite small and then also printed) would go through on the topic "Closed" – so gladly once again a Sliders Sunday. The colors here are extremely exaggerated and a little changed – I found it appealing to evoke a touch of "Boudoir" ;-)

Ein wenig wie Schneewittchen, oder? Hier wartet sie nun, den schönsten Träumen ergeben – bis jemand kommt und die Schlafende von der Apfelspalte befreit ...

Ich konnte nicht widerstehen, diese kleine gefärbte Glasscheibe auszuprobieren, die ich kürzlich gefunden habe. Und dann spiegelt sich auch noch alles darin, wenn sie aufrecht steht. Vom letzen Macro Monday inspiriert, nahm ich ein gedrucktes Bild – allerdings ohne Text, sondern mit einem Porträt ...

Allerdings war ich mir nicht sicher, ob die hier doch recht kleinen (und dann auch noch gedruckten) geschlossenen Augen zum Thema "Closed" durchgehen – also gern mal wieder ein Sliders Sunday. Die Farben sind hier extrem übersteigert und ein wenig verändert – ich fand es reizvoll, einen Hauch von "Boudoir" hervorzurufen ;-)

Before and After versions of this picture. You can view many

I think it can be useful to share this with you to show how I'm

usually editing my photos... Most of the time, I'm simply trying

to remove all the little imperfections from the original pic and I

also spend some time improving the lights, tones, colors and

the general composition of the photo.

I really always want to preserve the "essence" and "spirit"

of the original shot. All the edits I do in post-production

are only meant to express an idea or a message (usually

explained in the title or description of my posts on Flickr).
