After much frustration, much pain, and very little sleep, I am finally, finally, finally finished illustrating the book!

It left for the printer just before lunch today...so it is officially in their hands now.

*deep breath*

As cliché as I know this sounds, I feel like a HUGE weight has been taken off of my chest. Like I don't know what to do next. As blessed as I am to have had the opportunity to do this book, I was VERY ready for it to be finished. It has been a difficult three-and-a-half months. Now I can pick up my life/see my family/talk to my friends/relax/breathe/eat/sleep again. And Flickr, of course. :)

I'm back, jack.

these days were predicted and whispered into a wave.

I have no power to control which direction your eyes move.

Or even, to tell you which direction truth should exit.

What good will you bring me, if we are not breathing?

Money, which represents the prose of life, and which is hardly spoken of in parlors without an apology, is, in its effects and laws, as beautiful as roses.

Having champagne in Joey's kitchen - with thanks to P & T :-)

My friends seem to know me.

I have been out of touch for a while. I was taking two classes on top of everything else that I do, one of them ended on Tuesday night, and I just finished a major thing at work last night (at 10pm). My life will slowly start to gain back some normalcy.

I have been working on things for a while now. I have worked on quilts and knits. As I have finished knitting, I have been throwing it in a bag to block or seam (and then block) at a later time. I emptied that back out today. There's lots of stuff in there!

Also, I am going to Rhinebeck tomorrow, and that has me thinking about knitting too...

So yeah. I am back!

Well, here I am. It's been absolutely crazy in my life lately. I stopped my 365 because of a car accident that I was in, and I missed a few days. Plus, it just wasn't fun anymore. I thought I'd pick it back up on my birthday, but right around there my grandfather died. It's been a long hard year. And in all the craziness, taking pictures just sort of took a back seat. I really wanted to miss it, but I just didn't. But right now I'm slowly getting back into missing it. I'm gonna give myself a few more weeks and see where I'm at then. But I am determined to get back here and complete a 365.

I thought this tree was perfect! :)

I try to resist the big lalaloopsy's, but it's just impossible. Here we go agaaaaaain XD

Sorry for my lack of activity around here. I recently had surgery and I'm slowly getting back into things. Nothing serious and I feel better, so no worries! I'll be uploading more soon. My camera is backed up with lots of pictures from before I had surgery that are just waiting to be edited and uploaded lol :P

I quite liked the angle I took this shot from. Hugo was just too curiuos, adn couldn't resist sniffing my lens! :)

As I've probably said before, May & June are the best reasons to live here. We drove to Syracuse in deep fog but the sun came out on beautiful rural countryside scene.

I am sorry I’ve been so behind flickr and dollies these last months but life and bad health has kept me away from this amazing world. I’m so grateful for all your mails and messages, they meant lots to me, thank you friends!

I will have a happy time trying to catch up with your photos and stories, hugs to all!!

It's such a lovable trait if her's. My very own Eeyore! :D

Well, what can I say. I took this shot on June 15 - but am posting it today, July 1. That means I am so incredibly behind. I have taken a shot for every day, but haven't had the uumph to actually get on the computer to upload any of them. I am now hoping to put up three a day until all caught up. However, that was my plan a couple of weeks ago also. And it's not that I haven't had the time - it's that I've had too much time! I'm always going to do it later.

This is what I have come to learn is a red wasp infestation. They are going in the eaves on each side of the cathedral ceiling in front of our house. We've sprayed, but I'm afraid their nest(s?) are deep in the attic. The spray hasn't affected them at all. Going to have to get professional help to get rid of them. I'm surely not going up there after them!

so sad to be back actually..it was such a paradise..This is the view from Taormina -awesome place-.

This might have looked a little nicer if I had done a longer exposure to make the fountain more interesting, but I quite like this picture as it is. We spent an hour under a tree here because it just got too hot in the midday August sun - about 35 degrees!
