This was one of my favorite places to go when I was 12. I would come up here on this rooftop to look at Sather Tower glowing in the night and listen to its bells which play a long, mysterious piece of music for what must be ten minutes or more.
Here I am back with a beer, doing some time traveling so to speak.

My dSLR has been fixed (it has been acting up since I photographed a wedding last July and I had trouble finding a place to fix it) and I'm wanting to do another 365. Events last year cut my 2011 365 short, which is probably a good thing as 2011 was a rough year, which culminated in some fool rear-ending my new car on my birthday in December (I hadn't even had the car 2 months).
So, long story short, I'm back and ready for another 365. I'm busy planning some shots and enjoying a root beer as I do so.
where i've been hiding for the last several months. it's been terrible not to have anywhere to share my photographs, but in the same sense, kind of nice. being away from everything for awhile. but it is good to be back. i've missed you guys.

Lots going on at the moment! I've had very little time to get out there with my camera sadly. Hopefully that will change when the weather improves and I finally get this job interview over with!
I now have a wedding to plan for (my own :D), which is really exciting and will also eat into camera time! Not going to complain there, though.
Oh, and btw if you are reading this JH: I searched for York grand tour but if I had no clue if any of them were you!
