Here's my use of West Bank's installation nook upstairs at the gallery. People often ask me what my studio looks like, pretty much like this but with more cobwebs.

The the sound of EMD 645's in their run 4-5 hum breaks the silence... I.C.E. 6427 mile board Wisconsin Dells, next restriction milepost 270, 40 MPH, 641 out. Then it appears, wasting no time. The hogger gives you two chords on the P-5, then does something not done by the new generation. The cab window opens up, and an arm comes out, and for a mere second the rest of the world disappears as you two connect eyes. Nothing is said aloud, but thoughts are exchanged...

You turn to watch as the 645's thunder past, and the hogger notches up. The SD40's directly respond with a short puff of blue smoke, you are left in awe...

A fill shot from 26 Feb. This is an 8 second long exposure of Victoria's iconic Johnson Street "blue bridge", a bascule-type draw bridge that spans Victoria's Inner Harbour, joining Vic West and downtown.
It was designed by Joseph Strauss, who later designed San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.
This picturesque but ailing bridge is about to be replaced by a new design; I'm trying to get more photos before the unsightly construction commences.
