St Alban the Martyr Church, Bordesley, Birmingham, built between 1879-81 by John Loughborough Pearson, architect of Truro Cathedral and St Augustine's, Kilburn (which bears some similarities to this church).
The tower was not built until 1938, and finished off with a saddlebacked roof in place of the spire intended by Pearson.

The structure was built around 1887 at 117 W. Douglas. In 1961, it was moved to Cowtown and interpreted to represent the original Southern Hotel on North Main.

Interior of the Anthony Theatre at 220 W. Main in Anthony, Kansas. The theatre opened on November 23, 1936 with "Love on the Run" starring Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, and Franchot Tone being the opening movie. Wichita architect S.S. Voight designed the art deco building. Along with Voight several Wichita businesses were involved in the building of the Anthony Theatre. It is currently being restored.

Interior of the Frizell Santa Fe Depot at the Santa Fe Trail Center in Larned, Kansas. The 1929 depot was built in the ghost town of Frizell, Kansas in Pawnee County and later moved to the Santa Fe Trail Center.

This was the bridal party's vehicle for the wedding I shot last weekend. A beautiful, gold, Ford T-Bird. Left-hand drive, with all mod-cons including electric windows.

This 1934 Ford pickup was used by the United States Department of Interior - Soil Erosion and appeared at the 2012 Annual American Street Rod Association Car Show in Riverside, Missouri.

Submitted interior design element for an under construction, huge up-scale log-built lodge. This is for full coverage of the dining room‘s uninterrupted 14x32 foot wall. Large bank of plate glass windows to right facing the lake and the surrounding pine forest. Client wants something “over-the-top” dramatic and dynamic that will complement the warmth of the log and stone interior.
Of course, if I was to put this into my dining room at full size, I would have to trim 6 feet off the top or bottom. However, the length would be handy as it would be a continuous wrap for all four walls - eliminating the need to “balance” the other walls with some other decorative element. On the other hand, the dynamic element would be sacrificed to necessity by needing essential cuts to accommodate the singular window and door. In the end - in my mind’s eye and in my dining room - the effect might be so “over-the-top” that it would make me and my dining guests feel like we were chipmunks in a hollowed log and might be crushed any moment.
Returning to sanity, with uncommon effort, I will accept present circumstances by keeping to the current bare, neutral walls now adorning the walls and allow the “dramatic and dynamic” to be expressed on dinner plates and the gentile conversations of the dinner guests. Anyone for dessert?
