Bryce Canyon is reminiscent of a massive pipe organ filling the valley walls - but instead of producing a tremendous and harmonious sound for the ears, it becomes an allure and fascination for the eyes. In the morning light, the pinnacles glow in a variety of reds, golds and whites; while the repeating patterns of the spires create a texture that has a visual vibration.

Inspired by the summer-images of Jannie Bijl...

I just can’t forget

-how hard the days were

-the sleepless nights I went through

-the struggling and suffering

-how you left me behind

-how I tried to stay alive

Now since I came to know that you do check out my stream …Traveling through the past... through tears and laughter..

Today, with a great source of inspiration beside me, I don’t hesitate to tell you that a whole new thing has happened and thank you for moving away because im HAPPY..!

You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.

Lack of inspiration

Had a hectic day, not time for anything.

Only day 5 of 366 and having a hard time. It's cold outside, worked all day, kids, dinner, etc

The day went by and this is all I could come up with. There is always tomorrow...

91 - Our Daily Challenge - "Humanity":

"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world."

(Mother Theresa)

I found this quote a few weeks ago and have been wanting to use it. Today's challenge was tough, but I hope this fits the bill by referring to one of the greatest humanitarians of all time. I love the metaphor, even tho' it's not perfect. God wrote on stone tablets with His finger, so He doesn't need a pencil, much less one with an eraser! lol. Still, I love the concept and it inspires me. I long for a heart that is willing to be used as an instrument of love and compassion.

Open the Bible & Read the INSPIRATION that it Contains. You will be surprised.

we all need some inspiration from time to time to see and "shoot" the world again in a "new" light... here are "some" of the books that continually feed me ideas. Have fun reading! 😄

I find my muse whenever I spend time at the Silver Moonbeam trailer.

I have a niece. Her name is Shelby Lynn. My mom calls her SeaShell. I made her this bracelet at the picnic table in Red Feather, yesterday.

Texas State Railroad 2-8-2 30 performs one of a series of run-bys at Maydelle, TX during a Lerro Productions photo freight on April 28, 2019. This location right in the middle of the small town gave the photographers room to spread out and try different angles. I owe this particular shot to Kevin Gilliam, who showed me his image from a similar angle and inspired me to investigate and get my own take on the scene.

Crystal has one of the most inspirational photo streams on flickr. One of the greatest assests of this site is it's ability to inspire others. She knows how to get a photo to feel a certain way. Her use of textures and tones inspired me to look back to photos from my trip to Tennessee in September and see if I could create something like she does. Not sure if it works or not but... hey, practice makes perfect right?

So anyway, here's a thank you to Crystal who not only creates great photos, but inspirational works of art. I think I'm going to have to buy a fancy parasol and have fun with it too.

Weekend means going through the archives. And with the exception of that really fun maternity shoot yesterday, I think today I'll be giving my trigger finger the day off.

The tile is phenomenal. I'm assuming it's from Heath. I'm also assuming I can't afford it.

On April 9th, I premiered my installation at Dominion Art Gallery, titled "Inspiration". This installation was created via visual cues taken from the wardrobe styling, album art, performance photos, music videos, and promotional imagery put forth by these artists. I'll be releasing all 8 images, one at a time, and today is the second.

This interactive installation can be seen at Dominion Art Gallery, which includes a 3D interactive build corresponding with the images, in addition to some fun gifts at the entrance (in the treasure chest). Check it out here:

This second image is my interpretation of Mariah Carey, inspired by her music video for the song Always Be My Baby, found here:

Mariah is *the* Diva and nobody can tell her shit. 💛

For this image, I styled my av, madified the pose on the swing, created an EEP for environemental lighting and lights for the set, photographed, and did the editing after.

Here's what I'm wearing:

Head: Lelutka Simone

Body: Maitreya Lara

Hair: Tableau Vivant - Rossella hair [common] - Ombre

Necklaces: (Kunglers) Miele necklace set

Top: Blueberry - Zuzu - Knotted Tops

Jeans: Blueberry - Frank Jeans - Full Length (but I changed the color in editing because the they did not match the top)

The various inspiration that hangs from the walls of my sewing corner of my office... half is inspiration, and half is just work.

Landscape photography can be very frustrating - constantly dependent on the weather. Some may wonder why we don't give it up and change to a different genre of picture taking rather than always dealing with such a fickle collaborator. This is why!!!

On show on the Barbican Estate, where the plaque reads: " Part of a Beech Tree (Fagus Sylvatica) over 500 years old which fell in the forest of Burnham Beeches Buckinghamshire during a storm in January 1990. Burnham Beeches was purchased by the Corporation of London on behalf of the nation in 1880. The forest was the favourite haunt of the composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1808-1847) during his frequent visits to the area. He used to sit under this tree gaining inspiration to write serveral works including some of the incidental music to "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Presented by the Barbican Horticultural Society to preserve these historic links. Unveiled by Carl Davies Composer / Conductor 10th April 1993."

I used to go to a bookstore with that name.

The library is a great place to find books that are inspirational.

Travel, cooking , biography, mystery, etc.

J'ai traité cette image dans le but de lui donner un contexte et une vision de nuit.

Elle m'inspirait avec insistance !

À raison d'être aussi persistante, pourquoi pas...

U01A02: Inspiration

As a London based photographer, I watch a lot of London based photographers on YouTube and I went out a bought a book about photographing London (Photographing London - Volume 1 Central London: The Most Beautiful Places to Visit (Fotovue Photo-Location Guides) : George Johnson: Amazon.co.uk: Books), it tells you places to go and gives examples of shots.

I went to St. Paul’s Cathedral to get this exact shot

Unfortunately, the puddle wasn’t there for me, so I improvised with a little water feature I found.

I think it looks okay, but I will say the cathedral was over exposed and I fixed it a bit in LR (I say fixed it, I pressed auto edit lol), the photo was taken with a Sony a6400, kit lens and settings set to auto.
