Cockpit of the inspiration. We spotted this jet boat parked in Steamboat Landing, Glen Cove, New York. It is said to do 170 mph. It runs on two hugh engines (jet fuel, I think), and it is so loud, the passengers and driver must wear headphones. Please view the next photo to see it in action

I took a self portrait of my new look. I tried the eye patch thing for about a day, but Jeff said it was a little extreme.

The signs of spring all around our yard now. Even though it was overcast and raining this past weekend, I felt inspired by our Camellia bush which is really starting to fill out with lots of blooms.

Grabbing my camera, I took lots of photos of everything starting to bloom. No doubt there will be more blooms (and photos) to come, but when inspiration hits you you have to act on it!

Island of Rügen and stones again ;) sorry for it. It was a very very beautiful weekend trip to baltic sea. Only one inspiration from this stunning and very warm night. 11:30 PM and 2 minutes exposure.

Looking at the faces of these birds, I can't help but wonder if they haven't played a part in the Star Trek Writers' inspiration for the Klingon Race.

"The unusual geometry, invisible welds and a shiny surface are only three points, which describe the 45 m high steel mast “Peninsula Spire” at Millennium Square in London. The triangular spire twists 166° around its own axis from the 2.5 m side lengths of the base tapering to down 10 mm side lengths at the top. The internal steel frame and the stainless steel outer shell together weigh 34 tonnes."

Until I write again about inspiration...

Inspiration emerges from different subjects, when you look for it, or even more spontaneously, from near or far. from reality or virtuality.

In an expected moment, or completely unexpected.

Sometimes the same inspiration returns in a different edition years later.

Look at one thing and create something different.. listen and feel something else.

Because sometimes the inspiration emerges unexpectedly, a result of one thing or another.. I know that someday I will create this image, which will come out different, from what I saw in my mind's eye...

... after digesting, processing.. timing. An image that develops during its creation, depending on its time... and can develop into another image later on.

A flash of a moment.. immediately comes a slightly different flash.. and in another 2 moment.. two flashes of ideas.

Within seconds of thinking, I see something much more important or a part of the initial idea, should I put it in my composition.. or will it be a new composition.

If at all, undecided.

Inspiration expresses a certain enthusiasm and desire to create.

My work has harmony, calmness, its own rhythm, and pleasure.. even if it seems that my composition has no sound.. surely they have, a variety of sounds, audible or inaudible, in different rhythms.

I should mention that I often create with music in the background... which adds another touch.

I can feel the inspiration now, and create the piece immediately, or sometime later.. even years.

It's not how strongly I feel inspired... but what life dictates.

Sometimes I write down ideas that I will implement in the future, or not...

And when the idea pad fills up and I create other different things...

I don't have to go back to the same lists or create them. ( Unlike the past yes )

The great similarity over the difference... the opposite.. with the similarity.. the great difference over the similarity.

May we have reasons for inspiration in a more creative and inclusive life.

Because life is an inspiration...And inspiration is life.

Love & peace.

"Without words I am aimless, those curly g's, the upright, stand-to-attention t's, and those portly letters that prefer to sit, the o's, a's, e's and u's, where would I be without you all?"

These are a few of my notebooks and sketchpads all waiting in line for me to pluck up the courage to use them, pretty little things that they are. As you know, I'm a stationery freak and as I know, so are many of you, so drool away my lovelies!!

I've not had much time for Flickr in the past couple of days and have fallen terribly behind in my viewing/commenting. I hope to squeeze at least an hour in later to view all of the wonders you've posted. Until then, see ya!!

And how could I forget, another Kim Klassen texture used here (Celebration?) to make everything look pretty. I've only just discovered Kim's textures (I know, where have I been, eh?) and they're already becoming firm faves!

Here is my new post about UNITY ART GALLERY at Djembe's Land in OpenSim grid, where PORTRAIT'S expo opening happened on March, 4, 2023. A great event, where Djembe Dragonfire sang with his brilliant voice. In a case you missed it, I have a fresh article to encourge you to visit this amazing beautiful place!

The inner sleeve of the Usborne Book of the Future featured this alien landscape with strange multipedal robots and it always fascinated me as a kid. The searingly bright sky suggested a planet bathed in a steady dose of radiation from the star in the sky, no vegetation, the baked rocks and the robots exploring.

That, and the goofy cool world of Micronauts vehicles and Starriors.

Bryce Canyon is reminiscent of a massive pipe organ filling the valley walls - but instead of producing a tremendous and harmonious sound for the ears, it becomes an allure and fascination for the eyes. In the morning light, the pinnacles glow in a variety of reds, golds and whites; while the repeating patterns of the spires create a texture that has a visual vibration.
