Not Antelope Canyon but Canyon X, only to visit as part of a guided tour (im sorry, but i have no coordinates, the area is private property).

At noon there is much indirect light on the canyon walls. In conjunction with a long exposure arising as particularly intense colors. Therefore, it is incomprehensible that the tour guides today don't allow a tripod at the photo tours.

On the hike to the Observation Point in the Zion National Park, you will pass this man-made rock overhang in the Echo Canyon. Depending on the light incident, the rocks glow in the indirect light (in late October, this was early afternoon).

....or in secrecy - will be brought into the light. A truth made clear either directly or indirectly in ancient scriptures across the globe.

Take the ancient Egyptian symbolic temple wall depictions of the weighing of the soul - what else is that than a visual representation of the above, and the import is clear - all that is done is known to those spiritual authorities that are so empowered.

So politicians beware, secretly doing the bidding of your shadow lurking masters on one hand whilst lying to the public on the other. And all you 'celebs' and 'philanthropist' billionaires who like to announce your 'charitable works', relax, you could have kept mum like many do - its all known, right down to the contents of your heart.

Ultimately, when the final push meets the final shove, there is no such thing as secrecy to the All Knowing Light.

That's all superstitious mumbo jumbo says modern wisdom with a cell phone glued to one hand and a mega latte to the other.......

Really?

In terms of conservation, threats to red kites have been via direct poisoning and indirect poisoning from pesticides resulting in almost extinction in the 1900's.. Woodland clearance and other changes in agricultural practices created a reduction in food resources. Other threats included electrocution, hunting and trapping and egg-collection. This persecution resulted in a rapidly declining population with extinction happening in Ireland. In 2006, the first Red Kite was seen in London after 150 years and they are now protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act. Whilst numbers have increased, they remain on the amber list.

A little adventure is the visit of the "Golden Cathedral" in the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.

After a long hike from the trailhead into the valley of the Escalante River you have to

1. find the sand dune on which you descend to the valley of the Escalante,

2. find a passage in the labyrinthine scrub to the shore,

3. cross the icy river with about 1/2 m water depth and

4. walk the neon canyon with its towering cliffs to its end.

But it's worth it, especially in the sunshine in the late morning, when indirect light makes the walls glow in beautiful colors.

At the time of sunset the excursion on the Moselle had a particularly picturesque. The sun itself was no longer visible because of the Moselle mountains , so that only indirect light above the place was (July 6, 2016)

Indirect light on a sunny day in Canyon X/Arizona.

At that time, this canyon was still an insider tip a few miles away from the well-known Antelope Canyon.

I was allowed to visit this canyon with the well-known photographer Mr. Jackson Bridges from Page / Arizona, a great relaxed photo tour without a time limit.

Unfortunately, Mr. Bridges passed away in 2019.

Gullfoss is a waterfall located in the canyon of the Hvítá river in southwest Iceland.

The Hvítá river flows southward, and about a kilometre above the falls it turns sharply to the right and flows down into a wide curved three-step "staircase" and then abruptly plunges in two stages into a crevice 32 metres deep. The crevice, about 20 metres wide and 2.5 kilometres in length, extends perpendicular to the flow of the river. The average amount of water running down the waterfall is 141 cubic metres per second in the summer and 80 cubic metres per second in the winter. The highest flood measured was 2,000 cubic metres per second.

During the first half of the 20th century and some years into the late 20th century, there was much speculation about using Gullfoss to generate electricity. During this period, the waterfall was rented indirectly by its owners, Tómas Tómasson and Halldór Halldórsson, to foreign investors. However, the investors' attempts were unsuccessful, partly due to lack of money. The waterfall was later sold to the state of Iceland, and is now protected.

Sigríður Tómasdóttir, the daughter of Tómas Tómasson, was determined to preserve the waterfall's condition and even threatened to throw herself down. Although it is widely believed, the very popular story that Sigríður saved the waterfall from exploitation is untrue. A stone memorial to Sigriður, located above the falls, depicts her profile.

Gullfoss is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland. Together with Þingvellir and the geysers of Haukadalur, Gullfoss forms part of the Golden Circle, a popular day excursion for tourists in Iceland.

Gullfoss appears on the cover of the album Porcupine by the British band Echo and the Bunnymen. Additionally, the falls are referenced in the novella The Odd Saga of the American and a Curious Icelandic Flock; during a dinner, Snorri expresses a preference for Gullfoss, while Dr. Gustafsson favors Glymur. Gullfoss features in the music video for the single "Heaven" by the band Live. Gullfoss appears briefly in a sub-plot of the TV series Vikings, and one character kills herself by diving into it. The waterfall appears near the beginning of “The Bible: In the Beginning…”.

In the third season of the animated TV series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, in the episode “Sokka’s Master”, the character Sokka learns to sword fight by the Fire Nation swordsmaster, Piandao. In one scene of the episode, Piandao takes Sokka to a waterfall which was based on Gullfoss Waterfall.

Yo nunca he escrito una sola línea a mi temperamento normal.

¡Cuántos malestares, cuántos accesos siniestros he superado yo gracias a ese remedio insustancial!

Golden hour (photography)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_hour_(photography)

In photography, the golden hour is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky.

The period of time shortly before sunrise and shortly after sunset is called the "magic hour," especially by cinematographers. [1] [2] During this time the brightness of the sky matches the brightness of streetlights, signs, car headlights and lit windows. Also, during this period of time there are no sharp shadows because the sun has set (or hasn't risen). The magic hour is actually closer to twenty or thirty minutes.

The period of time shortly before the magic hour at sunrise (or after at sunset) is called the blue hour, when the Sun is at a significant depth below the horizon and residual, indirect sunlight takes on a predominantly blue shade.

indirect was the theme for last weeks mam....and although i managed to take the photo i couldn't find time to edit.

my confession.....i do everything indirectly....so here i am being totally drawn in the opposite direction to where i should be going...i do like distractions ;);) so there you have it...i mean me!!

When visiting the Wave for the first time, one is fascinated by the overall view of this unique location and is largely limited to it photographically.

The third time I was there, I spent a lot of time on the details. The sandstone layers in the picture can be found in the middle of the wave, here in the indirect light of the afternoon.

As if it were a dream space, the sun rises behind thin cloud veils over the Palatinate Forest, Germany. Delicate morning light nestles against the autumn-colored trees that stand out from the waves of mist.

The name of this orchid is: Mini Phalaenopsis

Suitable place for cultivation: A half shade place (indirect shade) is recommended, as direct exposure to the sun can cause burns on its leaves. So, the best time is the morning sun.

Watering: once a week; always letting the water drain well, because the excess of it in its roots can help to kill it (rotting). The orchid, in general, resists the lack of water well, more than the excess. For this reason, gravel is placed in its vessels, Styrofoam, to have this easy flow.

Never place dishes or anything that could block the water from flowing out of the pot.

Flowering: from one to three times a year, this will depend on the adaptation to the place where you will stay.

Pruning: it is recommended to cut the stem of the orchid. One tip is to cut above the second little one, so you preserve the plant. This makes all the difference to help it bloom again, as they say that this pruning helps the plant not to send nutrients to the place that is already "dead", thus failing to nourish other healthy parts.

Fertilization: The famous 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 = NPK formula (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium), should be applied biweekly or monthly. The proportion of fertilizer must be as indicated on the label. It is usually 1 teaspoon of coffee for every liter of water.

In the autumn and winter months, fertilization can be suspended.

If you do not want to stay with your orchid in the plastic vase in which it comes, you can easily fix it to tree trunks, wrapping your roots with coconut fiber or moss and fixing with a resistant band.

Coloring: different colors: white, yellow, burgundy, lilac, baby pink, greenish, pink, streaks and orange.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC is the parent company of the BNSF Railway (formerly the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway). The company is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, which is controlled by investor Warren Buffett.

History

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation was incorporated in 1993 to facilitate the merger of Burlington Northern, Incorporated, parent of the Burlington Northern Railroad, and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation, which owned the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway (Santa Fe). The corporate merger was consummated on September 22, 1995, at which point shareholders of the previous companies became shareholders of BNSF and the two companies became wholly owned subsidiaries of BNSF. In December 1996, the two holding companies and two railroads were formally merged, and in January 1998 the remaining intermediate holding company was folded into the railroad.

Robert D. Krebs of Santa Fe Pacific was president of BNSF from the merger until 1999, chief executive from the merger until 2000, and chairman from 1997 until 2002. He was succeeded in all three positions by Matthew K. Rose.

On November 3, 2009, Berkshire Hathaway made a $26 billion offer to buy the remaining 77.4% of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation it did not already own, valuing the purchase at $34 billion. The deal, which including Berkshire's previous investment and the assumption of $10 billion in Burlington Northern debt brings the total value to $44 billion. Consummated February 12, 2010, it is the largest acquisition in Berkshire Hathaway's history.

The deal was structured so that the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation would merge with and into R Acquisition Company, LLC, an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. The deal closed on February 12, 2010, and at the same time, the now merged company changed its name to Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC that remains an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.

(Quelle: www.u-bahn-muenchen.de)

The station Kreillerstrasse is located in Berg am Laim in the east of Munich and bears its name like the road to a Haidhausen brewery and landowner family, which owned numerous plots in Berg am Laim. It was planned by the architectural firm Grüner + Schnell in cooperation with the building department of the City of Munich, Department of U-Bahn-Bau. The opening was on 29. 05. 1999. The lighting design was taken over by the Bartenbach LichtLabor. The indirect illumination over three light bands, which are reflected by large aluminium panels on the ceiling, extends like a sky over the entire platform. The shape of the reflector umbrellas is precisely calculated in such a way that the light is evenly distributed over the entire platform width and the stripe at the platform edge is emphasised. Peek a Boo Slot Canyon at the Grand Staircase National Monument, one of the many scenic highlights you can experience as a hiker in the Hole in the Rock Road area near Escalante, Utah.

In the late morning you have here indirect light, which brings the otherwise brownish canyon walls to light.

Night view with a little indirect light painting. An amazing place to be with the night sky and moonlight there in Marble Canyon.

If you want to climb the top-rock in the Coyote Buttes North, there are two routes. The fastest, but not necessarily the easiest route steeply uphill behind the Second Wave. There is no mark, you have to find your way.

The picture was taken during the ascent in the morning in indirect light.
