shot with sx70 and px600 film

2010/04/04

1st pack of PX100, so far got 4 photos out of 5 shots, which is pretty good considering how sensitive to temperature this is: 3 of these were developed in a back pocket, but the 4th, which was farther away from my body, came out blank.

The wall one was taken indoors under controlled temperature.

There are some of you that might identify with this picture, I once felt like this... Impossible love(s) are so romantic, and yet, so sad... But I believe in miracles, what about you?

Floral Street, Covent Garden

simply impossible.... as I was proudly photographing the minty-in-box deer with red/green bows from Joberskitsch today(!), a box arrived from a secret admirer with 2 others! Please make yourself known or else! :o) What the heck? I'm beside myself.

Anyway, how will I ever get any rest when entranced by these doe eyes??

But Jana, I'm yours forever sweetie!!

#8-Chief Jackson (Brayan Pena) and #7-Impossible Task (Diego Herrera) race from the gate at Del Mar Racetrack, CA

This crazy contraption uses nothing more than your phone's screen to expose Polaroid-style instant film. A collapsable design ensures that you'll have it with you when you need it, the built-in battery can handle 150 pics on one charge, and it's compatible with film for Polaroid 600 and SX 70 cameras — not the most common stuff, but luckily for you Impossible bought the last Polaroid film factory, so they should have you covered.

A piece of the pie on one of our Moderntone depression glass plates. Taken by Edgar. When we were clearing out my mother's house in 2005, one of the things we found was an Eastern Star cookbook. I called Shirley, one of Mother's Eastern Star friends, and offered to donate the book to Mother's chapter. Shirley said that would be great. Before I sent the cook book to her, I copied some of the recipes. There were three recipes in the book for "impossible pie" (a type of pie that does not have a crust you roll out...it forms a sort of crust as you bake it). None of them was completely satisfactory, so I compiled a recipe using portions of the three in the book. This was not only the first time I have ever made an "impossible pie", I think it is the first time I have ever eaten any. We think it turned out quite well, and it was very tasty (even if I say so myself).

Incrivel as ondas!

The people at Impossible Project held a open house and I was invited to join the tour of the factory. The place once employed 1200 people at the hight of the Polaroid days. Now just 36 people are the Impossible Project. All of them passionate, dedicated and giving their all to keep us Polaroid camera users happy with film. Daunting task and after the visit I have nothing but respect for people achieving the impossible.

The bookstore will have the last book

I’ll ever need to buy, also the last music.

One sentence will take me months to read,

then I’ll have to ask everyone I know to tell

me what it means? Do you know what it means?

A dozen songs, all about the love of a woman

for her handbag. What does the handbag mean?

It’s still raining. I’ll go now and stand in the shower

under an umbrella and pretend to be a crazy man

in Spain Madrid Barcelona Portugal Lisbon.

Not with impossible promises, not with the power to heal all your wounds, not with the strength to shield you from every storm that comes our way.

but,still i'm with you...

and i promise to be there the next time a sigh escapes your soul...
