"Impossible project" PX100
Shot with SX-70 camera with flashbar and 2 settings on the darken side.
The black side is a little....dusty!
In the top area is visible a darker strip (i've got this problem with some TZ artistic too).
Valiant effort on the part of my Cotton rose, but Jack Frost had other ideas. Impossible to bloom after the cold nights. I have always loved plants in all stages of their lives. To me, it is nature's art.
Another Iron Forge build. I've used the flag piece 2 times for both sides of the sneakers. Everything is LEGO, even the stickers were cut out from an unused stickers sheet.
I saw this technique from my friend Balbo

I named this image An "Impossible Composite" because light pollution prevents this scene from ever being able to play out. The Milkyway will never be viewable like this over heavily populated urban areas due to the amount of lights concentrated in these areas. I wanted to create this "fantastical" image to showcase the beauty of our night sky and hopefully inspire some people who have dwelt in and amongst our cities for their entire lives to get out to the natural and just look up.
Locations:
Matagorda, TX: Milkyway
Houston, TX: City Skyline (Lower Left)
Galveston, TX: Abandoned Army Bunker (Lower Right)
Fractal created with Ultra Fractal software, and printed on Impossible Project Color 600 instant film with the Instant Lab Universal photo printer.
A few years back, I was into doing jigsaw puzzles, so I asked for 1000 piece puzzles for Christmas. My son decided that bigger was better, so he bought me this 18,000 piece puzzle. This puzzle is so intimidating, I don't know if I'll ever finish it.
Now it is a $200 photo prop and cat bed.
For Flickr Friday theme "Impossible."
Shot for Macro Mondays "Office" theme.
How many people work in an environment where they expect 110%?

"Explored" 11/5/08
For the curious this shot has no photoshop layers. Some curves adjustments have been applied after greyscale conversion and some minor use of the clone tool. Otherwise this photograph is exactly as I saw it.
