I attended the Quilt, Craft and Sewing Expo today with Niel and his parents. I knew his parent would enjoy something like this so I invited them. I seriously wanted to buy so many things, but I still have a box here for Nat of craft stuff that I was not using. I seriously had to contain myself. But I did get a few things such as a new craft ruler, Sheets of fabric picture paper and this new yoyo fabric design. After about 3 hours here, we went to eat at Salo Salo. Got back to Anaheim and watched Alice In Wonderland in Imax3D. I was seriously scared that the 7:25pm showing was gonna sell out cause the line at DTD was LONG. I quickly went to the machine to the side to get our tickets while Niel looked for parking. The movie was good. I think i need to see the original again to understand what happened before. After the movie ended, Niel decides that he wants to see Captain EO at Disneyland. Perfect timing too! Since the firework show had just started and it was raining, there was not gonna be long of a wait. We got seated pretty quick. Captain EO was great, i just had issues with the 3D part. It got to the point where i had to close one eye because in the middle of the show, it was starting to strain my eyes. It was really hurting our eyes. At the end of the night, we went next door to buy a Captain EO pin because who knows for how long it will be there and I like collecting memorabilia’s. Captain EO … CHECK! it took us so long to finally watch it…
Yeah, that's right, I saw Avatar again, but this time in IMAX 3D. I have got to tell you, IMAX 3D is the ONLY way to see this movie! It was totally made with that in mind, obviously, now that I've seen it, and seeing it in any other format means that you are definitely missing something from the movie. Trust me.
(And, yeah, the first photograph of the year is also the first movie I've seen of the year, the synchronicity of which makes me smile.)
