The AMC near me still had a good amount of pins left, and they were kind enough to give me a few. I am happy to have the full set minus the chaser. I would have liked to see them use different poses from the Disneyland ones. Though they did with Cheshire; he's in his adorable baby form. XP

View from the rear entrance of the Concorde of Air France on the roof of the museum. On the foreground a Vickers V.708 Viscount of Air France (F-BGNU) built and delivered in 1963. The Vickers Viscount was a British medium-range turboprop airliner first flown in 1948 by Vickers-Armstrongs. A design requirement from the Brabazon Committee, it was the first turboprop-powered airliner to enter service in 1953. The Viscount was well received by the public for its cabin conditions, which included pressurisation, reductions in vibration and noise, and panoramic windows. It became one of the most successful and profitable of the first post-war transport aircraft; 445 Viscounts were built for a range of international customers, including in North America. Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim

As of 2004, the museum had more than 3,000 exhibits and an exhibition area of more than 50,000 m2, indoors and outdoors. In addition to exhibitions, the museum also has a 22 m × 27 m IMAX 3D theatre.
Designed by Denis Laming and constructed with metal, semi-reflectant glasses, alucobond ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alucobond ) and other modern materials, the pavillions in Futuroscope take different simple geometrical (sphere, cube, cylinder) or mineral (waterdrop, crystal) shapes, which confer them some modern and timeless style, as only real masterworks have. As a curiosity, from 2001 the original names of the pavillions are rarely used, on behalf of the attraction or the movie being played inside. In 1996 the Imax 3D was built and "Les Astromouches", a funny animation movie directed by the Belgian Ben Stassen (2008) can be enjoyed inside. More information about the film:

This is the IMAX 3D at "Broadway at the Beach."
Apparently the day that I was there was their first day open - which I thought was really odd since it was a Tuesday - and other than going up to the ticket window and buying a ticket, there was absolutely no advertisement or signs saying that this was opening day.
Ticket price is normally $10.00 per show - but on this day it was a mere $3.00! Back when we thought that it was $10.00, we found a coupon that brought the price down to $8.50. Kevin and I were the only ones from my group that wanted to go at that price, so we went to see the 9:00 Deep Sea 3D showing. We were obviously both quite surprised when we found out that tickets only cost $3 that day!
So when the time came, we went back again (this time with Sarge and Stafford) to see the 10:00 Sharks 3D presentation.
Of the two, I'd say that I liked the Deep Sea 3D show better. The camera work was absolutely stunning! Both shows had great camerawork (especially underwater!), but the Deep Sea one had (IMO) better.

Just Can’t Get Enough
The Harry Potter Movie Series Comes To An End...
We saw the final Harry Potter Movie this morning,... It was....
Awesome
Wonderful
Emotional
and many many many more things....
Harry Potter has been part of my life along with many, many other kids and adults for over a decade. I mourn the loss of the series and like so many others we wish J.K. would have written more Harry Potter books, and perhaps she will, maybe not a Harry Potter book per-say but perhaps one about other Hogwarts adventures...
Again the movie was wonderful... Yes they left things out, Yes it could have been longer, Yes they didn't focus on some things they should have and yes they didn't explain some things... but it's encouragement for those who haven't read the books to read them, buy them and cherish them and see what they have been missing by only seeing the movies.
Thank you to all the producers, director's, screen writer's, actors and everyone else involved in the movies... though many of us would have made 4+ hour movies for each book you manged to hit the mark most of the time (I have a list of misses, but it's not that long... really *smile* one quick note... haircuts/Goblet of fire would have been really nice)... one thing you got right in each movie was to capture a great portion of magic out of each book and share it with the world. This will be a movie series to be cherished and shared among family and friends.
Thank you J.K. not only for Harry Potter but for all the characters... good and bad and everything in-between... Thank you for all the imagination you have given me and so many others... Thank you for taking us to the magical world of Harry Potter in such a rich, vibrant and glorious way... May you be encouraged once again to explore, create, imagine, and enlighten us in the wizard world in the near and not so distant future....
One last thank you to J.K.:
Thank you for bringing back the joy of reading to me. I loved to read when I was out of high school... reading such books as the Timothy Zhan Star Wars series... and though I have read a lot of good books, it had lost it's appeal and sadly I read less and less... Then a wonderful book entitled Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone came out, and the magic engulfed me and to this day, I can not thank you enough for bringing Harry's world into my life and rekindling the spark of reading.
