This is the last of the Detroit/Fox Theatre shots. I promise. I wish this was a little bit straighter, but with my 50mm lens it was tough to get a good angle with a large portion of the horizontal and vertical signage of the Fox in frame. I just got an FD 28mm, so maybe I'll take that back to Woodward to get some wider shots, but for now I think this captures the nice contrast between the dark designs, the gray bricks, and the reflecting windows.

This mailer was sitting around with my first roll of Velvia 50 inside, ready to send off to Dwayne's in Kansas. I've gotten into a habit of taking pictures of film rolls, boxes, and paraphernalia lately, and I like the B&W with the low DOF that the 50mm offers. Processing and scan by NCPS.

One of my favourites of this roll, just because it came out exactly as I wanted.
I make no apologies for taking a million photos of Hiorne Tower - everyone has a favourite place! :o) I think it works particularly well in pinhole version too!
I saw a pinhole photo of Yellow Bear's that was taking from the ground viewpoint, and the basically infinite depth of field worked really well, so I nicked the idea :o) I may have gone a bit over the top as they all are taken from ground level, but my other excuse is I had no tripod...

I was eager to try Ilford Pan F Plus ISO 50 film, but the high contrast and blown-out highlights are a disappointment. Maybe the lab's choice of developer was an issue. I'm pretty sure I nailed the exposure.
