I came across this picture from a gray summers day last year and came to think of how much I look forward to shoot Ilford Pan F film again. I live in the North, and here a slow film like the Pan F is for the summer months. At least handheld.
The picture is from a beach in the region of Sunnmøre on the West coast of Norway.

Normally I would use an yellow or orange filter is this situation, but I don’t have any that fit on the Rollei 35 S lens. Still the clouds and sky are nicely rendered due to the characteristics of the Pan F film.

This car had been in place wrapped around this tree for a few weeks before I took this photo. Driver (not me!) had missed the "give way" sign, missed the road entirely, and found a tree. Idiots everywhere quite frankly, not even the sense they were born with.
Possibly worth a zoom-in, this lens (a basic triplet) is extremely sharp.

The VW 412 (1973) was just a facelifted version of the 411 (1968). It had a 1.8 litre flat four air cooled rear engine (the 411's was 1.7 litre) with up to 85 hp. It was not a very popular car, and the final sedan with air cooled rear engines. It had a long bonnet in an attempt to provide sufficient storage space, resulting in quite a large car that came as a two-door or four door sedan or two-door station wagon, shown here, while still not really offering enough room for luggage. As it was a terrible rust-bucket like the type 3 and also guzzled petrol. There was a version of the 411 that had a fuel injection, but all 412s has a double carburetor. It was sold in competition to the first Passat model, which came out in 1973 and the Golf (1974). Frankly, who would have bought this car if they could have had had those much more modern cars?
