Back at Letchworth State Park on Friday. The snow was falling with a gentle breeze; temperature was just shy of 30F. It was beautiful as I headed out on the trail.

Our Wednesday Studio 678 field trip last week began at Rochester's Mount Hope Cemetery, a beautiful place. The light was already fading; the kids were shooting at ASA 3200. I am looking forward to seeing their photographs.
As we got out of the van I saw these there obelisks on the near hill.
Studio 678 is an after-school photography program for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.

WPPD 3 - Allie's place.
The last Sunday of April is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. To celebrate, I loaded a roll of Kentmere Pan 400 in my Ondu 6x6 and shot the entire twelve frames.
After church I took Rob back home then stopped by Webster Park on Lake Ontario. The photograph title comes from one I posted back in 2006. What I said then was, "This one is for Allie Hartley @CiRcUsSpiDeR whose photographs of Webster Park reminded me of how much I missed the place and sent me back awandering."
Allie doesn't post on dA anymore; I recently reconnected with her on Instagram.

May have been the same day as the Cavalcade but a few hours later. It was dark outside but with enough reflected light for me to dimly see the clouds above. I got the tripod out of the car, took a meter reading straight up, picked whatever aperture I needed for a one-second exposure, and aimed the camera to the southern horizon.
