The english name simply spoilt the mood :) I will better call it by its Bengali version "Basantabouri". I started enjoying the birds and their activities during the lockdown. But actually this is just rekindling of my old passion. Grown up amongst the abundance of nature, I had many chances of being part of nature's dramas. Watching the squirrels, birds during studies was very common. I still do. In fact, the only reason I opted out not to live outside the IISc campus is because it teaches us to co-habit with so many trees and creatures. Just like how I have done and I have seen. Fashionable high-rises cannot match this luxury. It simply feels different to be part of such a big echo-system!
