It was too dark! Shot at ISO 1600, with -2 EV exposure bias and then fill light was pushed up in Picasa. I kind of like this shot. I like dark moods. :)

The goal is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Wikipedia

On the way to Hebbal Lake one morning, the sunlight comes streaming in through the thick cover of trees on the IISc road. There's one guy who seems to be thrilled to be on the streets at this early hour of the morning, and a two wheeler just beyond him, but apart from that, there's little action...

Had been to Bangalore last weekend and had gone to the IISC campus to click some photos. There was an auditorium before which there was this arrangement of flowers done for a VIP visit and it was an awesome sight to behold. These white & orange were all over the place and I didn't want to end up taking a standard shot of those flowers.
After trying various compositions, this is the one that we liked a lot with the white flower standing out in the orange and purple bokehs.

On one Sunday, while I was loading a film (HP5+) on my F80, he was starring at me with surprise - like a little kid. I asked if I could take his picture. And he smiled like this. Took this image with Nikon 85mm lens at F4.
Later, I developed the roll and gave him a printed copy of this photograph. The smile was bigger this time.

The E189.986 has recently become the "only hauler" of the Civitavecchia to Terni freight service, here crossing Roma Ostiense towards the Thyssen-Krupp's factories.
You might be asking yourself: "An ISC loco on a CFI service?"
Well, my answer is: I don't have the slightest idea... but it's not the first time it happens.
