2. Tiêu chuẩn IP là gì?
IP (Ingress Protection) là chỉ số thể hiện mức độ chống xâm nhập của bụi và nước vào bên trong đèn.
Cấu trúc: IPXY, trong đó:
X: mức chống bụi (0–6).
Y: mức chống nước (0–8).
Ví dụ:
IP65 → chống bụi hoàn toàn, chịu được tia nước áp lực thấp.
IP66 → chống bụi tuyệt đối, chịu được vòi phun mạnh.
IP68 → có thể hoạt động khi ngâm nước tạm thời.
Trong đèn chống cháy nổ, chỉ số IP66 trở lên thường được xem là đạt chuẩn công nghiệp.
3. Tiêu chuẩn Ex là gì?
Ex là ký hiệu quốc tế cho thiết bị chống cháy nổ (Explosion-proof), theo tiêu chuẩn ATEX hoặc IECEx.
Nó cho biết thiết bị được thiết kế để ngăn tia lửa, nhiệt độ cao hoặc dòng điện rò rỉ tiếp xúc với môi trường dễ cháy.
Ký hiệu “Ex” thường đi kèm thông tin chi tiết như:
Ex d – Vỏ chống nổ kiểu kín (flameproof enclosure).
Ex e – Tăng cường an toàn bằng vật liệu cách điện.
Ex nA – Thiết bị hạn chế tia lửa trong môi trường Zone 2.
4. Cách hiểu đúng và ứng dụng thực tế
Khi chọn đèn, cần xác định vùng nguy hiểm (Zone 1, 2, 21, 22) để chọn cấp bảo vệ phù hợp:
Zone 1 & 21: Cần đèn Ex d hoặc Ex e, IP66 trở lên.
Zone 2 & 22: Có thể dùng đèn Ex n hoặc Ex t.
Đèn có IP cao nhưng không có chuẩn Ex sẽ không đủ an toàn trong môi trường dễ cháy nổ.

RECHARGEABLE DUAL-LIGHT® FLASHLIGHT W/MAGNET
The rechargeable Dual-Light® flashlight with hands-free magnet is cULus, ATEX, and IECEx listed Intrinsically Safe for use in both above and below ground hazardous locations where explosive gases and dust may be present. It uses an LED rated at 400 lumens that work in conjunction with a high-efficiency deep parabolic reflector to create a usable beam rated at 215 meters. A 225 lumens unfocused floodlight is integrated into the housing which is perfect for close-up illumination.
Additionally, both the flashlight and the floodlight can be turned on at the same time for maximum safety and versatility. The flashlight body switch provides momentary or constant-on functionality, a set of user-selectable high, medium, or low-brightness settings as well as a strobe and the second body switch operates the floodlight. The VC3500 double ended shear beam load cell, with its robust mounting accessory, is designed particularly for large silos and tanks and it incorporates a high anti-lift-off strength.
