Lacecap hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla normalis). Gertrude Carroway Memorial Garden, New Bern, North Carolina.
Frosted hydrangea from my parent's garden last year. I had many opportunities to take the same shot this year in snow burdened England but somehow didn't feel like talking my camera out of my bag for the entire time I was home.
Explored.
It is the first hydrangea this year.
Because the hydrangea of the area blooms one after another, I seem to take only this flower for a while.

今年最初のあじさいです。
辺りの紫陽花が続々と咲いているので、しばらくはこの花ばかりを撮ることになりそうです。

This bloom of Hydrangea turned sideways... beautiful and delicate.
I gently brought it in.
The flower spoke to me of essence, the spine.
The blooms quite young.
With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)
