Advocates across the state Hundreds converged on the capital for Hunger Action Day to urge legislators and the governor to "Tear Down the Wall of Poverty"
Senator Holly Mitchell spoke to Hunger Action Day attendees encouraging them to keep the pressure on because to address poverty and hunger in our community.
The next day, May 14th advocates returned to speak to the media after Governor Brown's press conference on the revised budget.
Lead organizations for the Bay Area Contingent: The Alameda County Food Bank and the California Partnership.

So this is new dog roscoe he's a mix of a pit and a terrier, I tried to take pictures of him but all he wanted to do was play, so I grabbed one if his little doggie treats and started persuading him into sitting still and finally caught a shot. Dogs will go from the most hyper/energetic moods to the most calm when you offer them food lol.
