A boy looks on as a food is being cooked. Though taken at the carnival, I like this shot personally because to me it reminds me strongly of hunger, of starvation. Especially from this angle right from the back. No face, no expression, you can only guess what is on his mind.

Advocates across the state Hundreds converged on the capital for Hunger Action Day to urge legislators and the governor to "Tear Down the Wall of Poverty"
Senator Holly Mitchell spoke to Hunger Action Day attendees encouraging them to keep the pressure on because to address poverty and hunger in our community.
The next day, May 14th advocates returned to speak to the media after Governor Brown's press conference on the revised budget.
