關廠工人絕食行動在昨天晚間6：28進入第100小時，但勞委會至今仍無官員願意到場協商。
由於最近天氣變化劇烈，對於持續待在帳棚中的年邁絕食者而言，處處充滿挑戰。今天多數絕食者都顯露一臉疲態，在旁協助追蹤健康狀態的醫師則說，目前每一位絕食者的血糖都呈現穩定下降狀態，64歲的簡素卿已經瘦了4.8公斤，且多人出現胃食道逆流狀況，必須持續監測。
吳永毅說他早上開始出現噁心想吐的感覺，沈秋華也有類似反應，說是胃酸逆流想吐，不過因為沒力氣走出帳棚所以忍住了。林子文說他上午時覺得腦袋脹脹的，不過下午狀況有好轉。第二次絕食的陳滿屏看來精神比昨天更差，一臉倦樣。黃德北則說，自從絕食進入第三天後，整個人就已經進入非常疲倦的狀態。
昨天才加入絕食行列的毛振飛、袁孔琪，和已經絕食100小時的人相較之下，可說是生龍活虎，幾乎整天都在和聲援者談話，不像其他人多半時間都裹在睡袋中休息。

關廠工人絕食行動進入第四天，截至晚間10：28為止，絕食行動已進入第80小時。
今天下午有五位絕食者拖著疲憊的身軀參加五一勞動節遊行，他們分別是吳永毅、林子文、黃德北、陳滿屏、殷必雄，所以今天他們的照片，都是坐在遊行現場的輪椅上拍的。別看吳永毅還一臉笑瞇瞇的樣子，遊行一結束他就累癱了。
昨晚全台突然下起大雨，北市氣溫驟降，絕食者的睡眠狀況不佳，今天看來又更累一些。高齡78歲的興利自救會會長林廷泉已經瘦了3公斤（他本來就很瘦），另外已一頭白髮的簡素卿則是瘦了4公斤。殷必雄的血糖則是一直處於低檔。
另，前些天負責籌備五一遊行的桃產總前理事長毛振飛、北產總總幹事袁孔琪，則在今天遊行落幕後加入絕食活動。看到毛振飛加入絕食，黃德北躺在睡袋中有點無奈地交待說，希望毛振飛去吃點東西再開始絕食，這樣才能撐久一點，否則過幾天他們應該都已經倒下送醫了。

由於全關連與勞委會長期無法就「貸款」與「代位求償」認定得出共識，全關連因而在今（4/28）下午前往勞委會發起「無限期絕食抗爭」，強調勞委會再不出面與勞工代表協商，他們就要用身體抗爭到倒下為止。
目前全關連已有7人加入「無限期絕食」行列，他們分別（圖左起）是台灣國際勞工協會研究員吳永毅、聯福自救會代表沈秋華、非典勞動工作坊發起人林子文、世新社發所教授黃德北、東菱自救會副會長陳滿屏、興利自救會會長林廷泉、東菱自救會代表簡素卿。此外，前桃產總理事長毛振飛、北市產業總工會總幹事袁孔琪，也將在結束五一勞動節工作後，加入無限期絕食行列。

關廠工人絕食行動進入第二天，勞委會仍然沒有出面回應全關連三點訴求，截至晚間8：28為止，絕食活動已進入第30小時。
今上午，全關連按原訂計畫召開記者會，批評目前企業主未依勞退新制提撥勞工退休金爛帳高達18.3億元，若以月薪三萬、積欠6個月計算，全國受害勞工超過1萬多人。全關連重申，為避免類似關廠欠薪糾紛再度發生，勞委會推動勞基法第28條修法，將退休金、資遣費納入工資墊償基金保障範圍。
勞委會則再度以新聞稿隔空回應全關連訴求，強調勞退新制開辦以來，已提繳之退休金達9,165億餘元，收繳率高達99.75%，勞工權益已獲得充分保障。勞保局指出，目前雖有近20億元催收款項，但這是因為勞退金採事後收繳方式，才導致虛計退休金，勞保局將繼續加強催欠作業。
目前絕食成員多半精神狀況還不錯，但沈秋華雙手不知何故嚴重浮腫，陳滿屏、黃德北也因睡眠狀況不佳而略顯疲態。
另，經常聲援各類社會運動的殷必雄也正式加入無限期絕食行動。他說，昨天到場聲援時，本來只打算絕食一天，但因為「實在看不下去」，所以臨時起意加入無限期絕食行列。目前他疑似因血糖過低，精神狀況不佳。

全關連工人絕食行動在今晚突破125小時，勞委會除了持續發新聞稿隔空喊話，呼籲工人停止「過激陳情方式」外，勞委會主委潘世偉仍然不願出面協商對話絕食者因此發起「協尋潘世偉」活動，持續呼籲對話。
今天有三位絕食者脫隊，分別是黃德北、殷必雄、林廷泉。黃德北本來打算一邊絕食一邊參加研討會，但決策小組覺得不妥，因此讓他終止絕食。殷必雄在上午七點前往廁所途中昏倒送醫，心跳數一度高達每分鐘160下，所幸最後並無大礙，下午時已回家靜養。林廷泉已高齡78歲，考量到他的健康因素，醫療小組在晚間將他送醫，強制停止絕食。
另，絕食者毛振飛今天前往台北地方法院聽取法院宣判，法院認為，他必須因去年10/28「讓雞蛋飛」蛋洗總統府行動負責，判拘役20天，但毛振飛打算繼續上訴。毛振飛過去曾數度表示，如果政府要關他，他一毛錢也不打算給政府（易科罰金），寧願讓它關。
勞委會則在今天上午發表新聞稿，表示：「勞委會除對於可能造成勞工身體健康之危害，深感感憂心外，也誠摯希望勞工能瞭解該會將盡最大的努力，排除各種困難，只為尋求最佳的解決方案；所以，勞委會籲請勞工以身體健康為重，儘快結束此一激烈的訴求方式。另基於人道考量，勞委會在辦公時間內，將秉持尊重及照扶勞工之立場，提供陳情民眾必要之協助，該會並已成立專責小組，隨時關注勞工情形，如勞工有身體有不適之情形，將立即聯繫醫療院所，提供必要之照護。」
目前仍有7名工人持續絕食，除了無奈退出的黃德北、昏倒的殷必雄、被迫送醫的林廷泉外，其他7名絕食者的健康狀態看似與昨天沒有太大差異，仍然顯得非常疲倦，從肌膚狀況也可看出每個人都處於脫水狀態。
絕食最可怕的問題在於，這不是一種很明顯的自殘行為，每個人即便看來與平常沒有太大變化，但即便在下一秒倒下也不叫人意外。看似平常，實則已經受到很大的傷害。

Ingda Birhanu next to his cow whom he shelters under the same roof as his family. Birhanu is a long term volunteer with the Ethiopian Red Cross. He lives in Bibiso in conditions that are just as difficult as anyone else’s in drought striken Wolayita.
The Ethiopian Red Cross has mobilized and trained nearly 200 volunteers to assist with the emergency food distributions for 40,000 people in Wolayita, South Eastern Ethiopia.

The authentic Irish cottage from 19th century is landscaped with stones, soil, and native vegetation transported from the western coast of Ireland, with stones from all counties of Ireland. The memorial was completed and dedicated on July, 2002.
