Took my camera with me on walk to Starbucks Thanksgiving AM before my holiday was getting underway. Gave this guy a couple bucks. Took his photo from across the street on the way back.

This is District #1 Luxury in my The Hunger Games Scrapbooking Challenge Series.
The stamping on this layout was inspired by Shannon Tidwell's Making Memories Monday challenge. The challenge was to use a stamp. She used a mason jar stamp, repeated the image several times, and added glitter and journaling to each jar. I wanted to use a stamp that I could jouranl inside of and I remembered that I had a Jenni Bowlin stamp that I bought at my local store Whim-So-Doodle and I bought it at the full price of $4.00 and that I haven't used it yet - so this page seemed like the perfect opportunity to use this luxurious stamp.
Journaling: I don't value fancy cars or jewelry or fashion. I love free time and travel and adventure and good food. I don't particularly love shopping for clothes but I love that Allison has a passion for it. Lists: Stay home days. Walks on the beach. Time to scrapbook. Bedtime stories. Singing in the car. To raise awareness and support for the Horn of Africa, Rebecca Drouin decided to shave her head. Through media awareness she asked people to donate to the Horn of Africa and committed to shaving her head if she reached her goal. Rebecca met her goal and has raised $1,380 for CARE Canada, 200,000 grains of rice through FreeRice and educated people about hunger abroad. Rebecca was inspired by the Masai tribe from the Masai Mara in Kenya who use head shaving as a symbol of change and new beginnings. Photo credit: Jesse James Photography

Heads of families are waiting at the Red Cross distribution centre in Wolayita, Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Red Cross has mobilized and trained nearly 200 volunteers to assist with the emergency food distributions for 40,000 people in Wolayita, South Eastern Ethiopia.

It was noon ,as some food is being cooked in the vessel little girl and the dog awaits for the food.. "Hanger is common for both"
Coyote on the prowl in dead of the winter for food in lamar valley. Shot this from inside the car so as to not disturb the hunt. This coyote was was so focused looking for the food that it ignored the car.
