I found this kitten in the backyard of a bakery, while visiting the small town of Pisac, Peru. He or she couldn't have been more than a few weeks old. It was so hungry that it tried to eat a few crumbles from a piece of paper used to bake bread on.
Hunger is a third-person 3D action adventure game with stealth and exploration elements. A nine-year old girl named Six is kidnapped from her home and taken to work in The Maw – a surreal underwater resort catering to the whims of the powerful elite. When an unexpected twist of fate offers her a chance at freedom, Six takes a journey through the bizarre and unpredictable world of The Maw, and catches a glimpse at the corrupt heart of modern happiness.

Bengal tiger. The most numerous of all the tiger subspecies, there are an estimated 2500 of these big cats left in the wild. All subspecies of tigers are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, climatechange, poaching fueled by trophy hunting, and the illicit trade in tiger skins and other body parts, much of which is sort after for use in traditional Eastern medicine. Today, I had a very up-close and personal meeting with a hungry polar bear (yes, this is a real one!). It was moving its head wildly back and forth, so I had to muster every skill that I had to get a clear shot.
The polar bear is found throughout the Arctic Circle and adjacent land masses. It is the largest carnivore that lives on land, being twice as big as the Siberian Tiger. The polar bear is often regarded as a marine mammal because it spends many months of the year at sea. Adult males weigh 352–680 kg (780–1,500 lb) and measure 2.4–3 m (7.9–9.8 ft) in length. Polar bears are superbly insulated by up to 10 cm (3.9 in) of blubber, their hide and their fur; they overheat at temperatures above 10 °C (50 °F), and are nearly invisible under infrared photography. Polar bear fur consists of a layer of dense underfur and an outer layer of guard hairs, which appear white to tan but are actually transparent.
