“Tell me what you need, oh, you look so free
The way you use your body, baby, come on and work it for me
Don't let it get you down, you're the best thing I've seen
We never found the answer but we knew one thing
We all have a hunger”
Hunger ~ Florence and the Machine
Bengal tiger. The most numerous of all the tiger subspecies, there are an estimated 2500 of these big cats left in the wild. All subspecies of tigers are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, climatechange, poaching fueled by trophy hunting, and the illicit trade in tiger skins and other body parts, much of which is sort after for use in traditional Eastern medicine. There are currently more tigers in captivity, 5000+, than all the wild tigers left in the world. Emperor Valley Zoo.Trinidad & Tobago, W.I.
Two excellent books, the paperback "Tribute Guide" and hardback "The World of the Hunger Games", both very well illustrated with photos from the film, pictured with an authentic prop replica Mockingjay pin badge.
Poem pinned to the wall of our room at Hotel San Jose.
Hunger
The fox you lug over your shoulder
in a dark sack
has cut a hole with a knife
and escaped.
The sudden lightness makes you think
you are stronger
as you walk back to your small cottage
through a forest that covers the world.

The Cosmic Hunger.
Legends Galactus lands in the collection at a time when my collection is in complete disarray from Hurricane Ian’s destruction!
Still feels like Christmas morning. Had to pop some champagne and celebrate.
I’ve had scenes ready to shoot with these guys for over a year, may have to wait a little longer as I get a new studio set up.
These 3 generations of Galacti are the cornerstones of my Marvel Universes: ToyBiz, MU, and now Legends!

Day after day most of us in small town Sayville don’t have to worry about when our next meal is going to be. However, there are thousands of people starving around the world and we never really take the time to think about it. I thought putting pictures of starving children and adults forming the word “hunger” would make a statement to people looking at my work to maybe stop and think about this global issue. Also, I used blue as a background color because hunger is usually associated with the color blue.
