The strangest things show up in and around my inbox. If you don't get what is funny/strange/bizarre, you probably aren't Sikh. That's OK, don't concern yourself. It's a Sikh thing.

In my book Love London nearly 200 photographs will be matched up with quotations from a variety of sources, from 15th century poetry to modern blogs.
See a Love London portfolio here - though these pictures are not necessarily in the book, and many in the book are not posted here. The photographs go as far back as 1986, but the majority are new ones taken for this book.

Day 305: Wow the end of 10 months. Can't wait for the end of 12. Today's shot is another inspired by the faulty light in the gents at work. Some wag - perhaps the same as put the bats in there, perhaps not (see Day 286) - put this giant cardboard spider in the loo, it actually made me jump as I went through the door. There were a few other bits in there too like a paper ghost, a couple of spider web things, and various balloons with creepy faces. It's nice that there are still some people at work with a sense of humour!
Today I walked to work, and half the way home - I was offered a lift all the way but didn't completely give in to temptation (chap who gave me the lift actually lives on my walking route virtually half-way). In fairness, I'm still not completely well.
