Another view of the humidor--the metal (tin?) interior. In the lid is a filter that was kept damp to keep the cigars moist.

This is one of a half dozen humidors I've made over the last couple years. This was for a good friend, Dan.
Tabaccheria Havana Ferrara, famiglia Albieri.
Cavalier Cigar Co., College Station, Texas. (Where distinguished Aggies go to get their cigars) This limited edition humidor box of Rocky Patel Aged Limited Rare Cigars is like the Arc of the Covenant in the Indiana Jones movie. It can work magic. The box is only $2,400.00, but I do have a 20% discount built up. They are a thing of beauty. The “box of magic” contains 100 specially rolled cigars that aren’t available to the commoners who only buy one or three cigars at a time. From what I understand, the “business end” of these “sticks of wonder” are ever but slightly larger than the end you smoke.
If one were to buy the box, the most excellent Rocky Patel representative said she’d give you 10 free cigars, a RP lighter, and an RP ashtray. The RP rep also said she was once blessed with smoking one of these sticks of beauty and it was unlike any cigar she’d ever smoked.
I was actually doing the math and considering it… That would be $24.00 a stick, but the box is worth hundreds of dollars, so that lowers the “cost per stick” when you deduct the value of the humidor. That box would look extremely sexy in front of several of my Texas Flags with a bottle of bourbon next to it.

Scorch Torch Humidor Humidifier Round Up
This is an excellent Cigar Humidor. Perfect for your office desktop, or night stand. It’s capable of holding up to 75 cigars, and is properly lined with Spanish cedar. This does come with a humidification device, but I highly recommend following the steps on ‘how to season a humidor‘ instead. Scorch Torch not only sells Humidors, they also sell Cigar Lighters. This is a buyers choice on Amazon.com, and comes highly recommended. Below are a few reviews that are posted on it’s amazon page.
Great humidor. It holds humidity well. The analog hygrometer is as accurate as a digital. Great humidor, even for a high end smoker, this can be used as a dry/ready humidor for your sticks you know will be smoked in the near future so you don’t open your other humidor to often – allowing your cigars to age properly. it also can be used as a travel humidor, if you’re traveling by car to the beach or skiing. i wouldn’t trust it with the airlines.Tim Nichols
Scorch Torch Humidor in Depth
This is a simple yet highly attractive cigar humidor that is ready to store your cigars. This is most definitely a budget humidor, but if you’re looking to save a few bucks–this is an excellent choice. If you do choose to purchase this humidor, be ready to properly season your humidor when you first receive it.
While some people use this as a travel humidor, I do not recommend taking this onto a plane flight. The clear top will most likely get cracked.
I’ve had this humidor for about a month and a half now and it seems to be holding up extremely well. It was easy enough to get it to the right humidity and it’s sustained that level very well. I’ll have to wait and see how it continues to hold up in a few months from now, but this far I’m very happy with it. One note of caution, and maybe it was just me that didn’t read the description closely enough, but the top is plastic, not glass. Either way, it was a great buy at $30.IJ1001

South Beach socialites all head to Glass at the Forge when the evening agenda calls for a night of upscale lounging. Glass is steeped in Hollywood history, starting off previously as a cigar lounge with private humidors for the likes of Oliver Stone and Bono. The venue was transformed when owner Shareef Malnik teamed up with Miami designer Allison Spear to create an upscale lounge space that packs in a star-studded crowd.
