My humidors as of June 2018

Can you imagine being wealthy enough [acres and acres of land aside] to have a structure like this devoted entirely to keeping your ice from melting? It is about half the size of my current house and I swear Cris and I rented a place this size not long after we were married.

The owner had his ice shipped in from colder places than South Carolina.

By sailing ship.

Before there were Frigidaires.

Boggles the mind.

I mean, it's like if I now had a building outside of my house devoted entirely to beer or something. My "beer house", if you will. Devoted entirely to keeping my beer separated from the other things in the fridge so I don't have to worry about knocking over the soy milk anymore when I reach back in there, Indiana Jones-like to fetch a cool one from its depths.

I wonder if Mr. Townsend had a humidor building too?

It's funny to think about. =D

Edisto Island, South Carolina

Being a single dad who loves cigars on a daily basis, I need a place in my house where I can enjoy an exquisite cigar like Partagas without comprising the environment for my kids. I have the perfect room for the Ultimate Cigar Cave (the dinning room) but it desperately needs a make-over. Currently, I enjoy my cigars out on my back deck which is fine for the days which are not too hot or cold. As everyone who truly enjoys a relaxing moment smoking a cigar knows it should be enjoyed and savored. Something which cannot always be done outside.

My cave would obviously have all the necessities such as leather furniture, bar with three keg taps, small fridge, high-definition TV and surround system, large humidor, area to play poker and last but not least a quality exhaust system to keep the environment fresh all year round.

My absolute favorite cigar I have ever smoked is the Partagas 150. I still have one sealed box which is a treasure to me. The best way to smoke them would be with about a dozen of my cigar buddies in my new cigar cave. Partagas help me build my cigar cave!!!

Cavalier Cigar Co., College Station, Texas. (Where distinguished Aggies go to get their cigars) This limited edition humidor box of Rocky Patel Aged Limited Rare Cigars is like the Arc of the Covenant in the Indiana Jones movie. It can work magic. The box is only $2,400.00, but I do have a 20% discount built up. They are a thing of beauty. The “box of magic” contains 100 specially rolled cigars that aren’t available to the commoners who only buy one or three cigars at a time. From what I understand, the “business end” of these “sticks of wonder” are ever but slightly larger than the end you smoke.

If one were to buy the box, the most excellent Rocky Patel representative said she’d give you 10 free cigars, a RP lighter, and an RP ashtray. The RP rep also said she was once blessed with smoking one of these sticks of beauty and it was unlike any cigar she’d ever smoked.

I was actually doing the math and considering it… That would be $24.00 a stick, but the box is worth hundreds of dollars, so that lowers the “cost per stick” when you deduct the value of the humidor. That box would look extremely sexy in front of several of my Texas Flags with a bottle of bourbon next to it.

A “Thing of Beauty” is not a thing to ignore! I believe in things of beauty, do YOU? — Hothouse Flowers (Irish Pop Band)

My humidors as of June 2018

Hailey knows a thing or two about humidors.

Ask her! She will be more than happy to answer all your humidor and cigar questions.

Shop Online with Victory Cigars

I am just your average "Joe", I don't smoke $100 cigars, I don't golf, I don't make $500,000 a year. I had three TMIs , I lost my job, my house, and much more. Now I am on SSI so we rent. I don't have the possibility of a "man cave" in this house. I am exiled to a delapatated old shack out back. Because my situation is much different than most,

I need an unusual "man cave".

I envision this to be my perfect man cave:

A 16' fiberglass camper.

a humidor

a kegerater

a nice TV

a computer (to order more cigars)

a big comfy chair

A Partagas ashtray & a table lighter.

What a great place to relax with my Partagas black label 1845 classico. How could a man

not smile in his very own man cave and a primo cigar like that? Smoking a

Partagas puts a smile on my face and washes my problems away. I feel like the king of my domain, regardless of where I am.

Win or lose, thank you for the opportunity to let you know your cigars enrich my daily life.

Been a long time Partagas cigar smoker. In my humidor I still have some partagas 150's and 160's. Last year when my baby girl was born, I purchased 4 boxes of Partags black and laser engraved to pass out as baby cigar. This year I just had a little boy, and I also purchased 4 boxes of partagas Black and laser engraved for baby cigar. Nothing beats a Partagas Black where the full flavor and medium body suit the regular cigar smoker to the most experience smoker.

Now that you know I use Partagas black cigars for every occasion including my babies birth, you might also noticed my household had grew quite a bit. My house is invaded by adults and babies a like, and in need a place to enjoy a cigar where is inside so I can check on my family quite frequently and also be able to keep the smoke out of the babies' presents.

If I win, I will like a good smoke eater and nice exhaust and a few chairs, possible a flat screet TV for friends to enjoy with me.

Attached is a pic of the baby cigars as stated earlier.

3|05|08: My husband & I went to an interesting shop today. A shop where they hand-roll cigars. I wasn't very excited about going with him, when he told me he was going there, but I'm so glad I went.

It was really an interesting place. The shop doubles as a lounge where people can smoke the cigars. The man who ran the shop was so nice. One of the other patrons noted to him that I was taking pictures in the humidor (none of which turned out by the way) and so I belatedly asked, "Is it all right?" He was very nice, and didn't mind at all. I wish some of the photos of the cigars in the humidor turned out to show you. The man showed us pictures he had on the wall of interesting people & cigars (one picture featured a cigar as long as a walking stick, another soldiers holding large bundles of cigars). He had a very large box of dried tobacco which he used to make the cigars, and a live tobacco plant growing, potted, next to the door. He showed us a picture of another potted tobacco plant that reached to the ceiling, and told us that that was it, hanging in the corner, drying. My husband bought some cigars to take on vacation with us and we left with a smile on our faces.

Whether I'm building a project or fixing something (I'm the handyman), my work bench seems also to double as my smoke spot. In winter it's colder than a...well, you know. I live at 9200 feet elevation and I have to smoke with the garage door open. In summer, it's very nice with the door open -- but that's only about three months out of the year. I bring the Sirius Satellite Radio to the garage to listen to Cigar Dave on Saturday mornings and I listen to other things since I smoke out there about once a day. I do my wife a favor and smoke outside in the garage. I like the idea of a cigar cave where I can have the computer, a big screen tv , my humidor and a fat recliner. A warm spot with the nice man amenities would be nice. As you can see my smoke spot is a little tight but, it works.
