It is pretty curious the way people try to mark they property, to create illusion of "they own" without any respect to the architectonical structure. Although the color is a posterior addiction it is still the very same - "ugier jasny" - basically the color of diarrhea shit that was one of the main components of the rainbow it the late colorless socialist period (typical for train stations and offices)
This specific case is even more interesting because this is a former "privilege" shop for military employees (more stock during, more "quality" products specially at the time of economic crisis at the dusk of communist regime) - now mutated into uniform and (sic) female lingerie store.

Today I:
-wrote a test on improv vocabulary (e.g. wimping, waffling, bulldogging, talking heads, mugging, gagging, etc.)
-drew more bikes in drawing & painting (I only have one more to draw, & it's in mixed media, which oughta be sweet)
-talked fashion with an absolutely amazing girl
-failed to help friends track down sheet music (but it was fun anyway)
-invited a Beautiful Fairy Boy™ to our next Icing Day party (it's an exclusive event indeed!)
-got berated by my environmental sciences teacher for not being "diplomatic" when explaining why I couldn't possibly go on her field trip (but got out of the trip anyway, thanks to a D&P critique session planned for Tuesday)
-researched Mountain Equipment Co-op
-researched ancient Egyptian pyramids
-seriously contemplated dropping out of world history because I'm pretty sure I neeeed a spare this year

Weak and irresolute is man;
The purpose of to-day,
Woven with pains into his plan,
To-morrow rends away.
The bow well bent, and smart the spring,
Vice seems already slain;
But passion rudely snaps the string,
And it revives again.
Some foe to his upright intent
Finds out his weaker part;
Virtue engages his assent,
But Pleasure wins his heart.
’Tis here the folly of the wise
Through all his art we view;
And, while his tongue the charge denies,
His conscience owns it true.
Bound on a voyage of awful length
And dangers little known,
A stranger to superior strength,
Man vainly trusts his own.
But oars alone can ne’er prevail
To reach the distant coast;
The breath of Heaven must swell the sail,
Or all the toil is lost.
The picture shows people training for building human castles (castells) in Tarragona. It's a catalan tradition. The group on the photo is Colla Jove Xiquets de Tarragona (ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colla_Jove_Xiquets_de_Tarragona).
(I've intentionally taken the picture this way in order to protect the identity of the people involved.)

The Harsh reality of Mankind's search for Power and wealth, does go to far sometimes. sometimes in the name of money , sometimes in the name of National Defense ,sometimes just in the guise of a "Greater Good"
Private companies run studies And a lot of this type of research is done using Low income people ,students,also Military recruits in the United States but is also prevalent in India ,Europe, Asia,
This is a $14 billion dollar Industry in the united states alone
I am not totally against Human testing as long as the participants have full knowledge of whats going on and are completely willing
But The question is " How Far is to far ?"
And who gets the job of making sure that everyone is Playing by the "rules"
what will the punishment be for someone who breaks the "rules" ?
Human suspension at a Tattoo Convention....not my kind of fun......Only reason i finally posted was cause many had asked what "suspension" is.... no way to really explain it......
Happy Father's Day. In Memory of my dad.
me holding my father's hand. taken one month after my mom passed away. that day he must have remembered she had passed because he told me he wished he had told her more often how much he loved her and what a good wife she was. I took this picture to remind myself of what a wonderful day it was for me to hear him speaking so deeply of the love he had for her. {Random Thought 6.15.25}
