hikers on the Vincents' Gap Trail in the Angeles National Forest - looking like a human centipede train as they hike up a hill. We gave it the right-of-way!
This was the human catapult coming in to land at Mayflower Park. The French acrobatic theatre group Les 3 Points de Suspension were the artists. The play was called "Journey on the edge of the end of the world"
No safety nets were used - it was jaw dropping. The acrobat landed on a double mattress wrapped in heavy duty tape from a height of over 6m.

I'm not sure why, because I don't even know this young man, but I really like this shot. I love Alsea Falls anyway, and I think the way the dog is longing to go swim where my favorite dog in the world, used to swim is part of it. The other part is I think the dog's markings echo the coloring on the rocks and water. I'm just really pleased with it. It was a little grainly. I may do some "smart blur" with Arcsoft 5.5 and replace thisone. That is a Great Dane or Great Dane mix, isn't it? Delina
