”Every single bad, angry, or sad memory fades away. The light and awe of that beacon fades away. The beacon takes shape. You see that very object and everything else just goes away. You don’t care anymore. Why should you? You have that beacon. That’s all you need. So cherish that thing as long as you can, because you never know when it will be taken from you…” Doctor Banner takes his notes and squares them up with each other. He nods and thanks the audience before him for their time. Silence falls upon the room. Before Banner can leave the stage a young man stands up in the crowd. He stands there quiet for a second and then begins to clap. Suddenly, every single person in the crowd stands up and begins clapping. Some wipe tears from their eyes and others hug the person next to them. Slowly, Banner walks off stage and is greeted with the embrace of his new fiancé, Betty Ross. It’s been a year and half since the incident in New York. The city finally has new life in it. The city is back to its busy and hectic manors.
“So what’s next for Bruce Banner?” Betty says as she intertwines her fingers with Bruce’s. Bruce looks up the hall and sees the light shine in from outside. He then looks to Betty and smiles.
”I don’t know.” Bruce said as he opened the door and let Betty through the exit. As the two exited the building, a swarm of reporters and protestors flooded them. Cameras and microphones were shoved into the two’s faces. ”Excuse me, can we please be left alone?”
Banner says this and without fail, all the reporters and protestors quiet themselves and step aside. Bruce lifts his eyebrows in awe and then continues walking down the path to his car. Although he fully understands exactly why this happened, Bruce can’t help but feel happy with himself and what he just did.

”Report!”
“Doctor Banner and Miss Ross have continued their average routine. Dinner’s after Miss Ross gets off work, out in the city on Friday night. Doctor Banner continues his morning routine of meditation on the roof of the complex.”
”Anything else?”
“No.”
”Great, continue to stay in cover. I’ll check back in in a week.”

[A year and a half ago. (Taken place during Hulk Pt. 1.)]
A young man sat at his computer desk, reading the new issue of his favorite comic. He sat there in awe as the hero yet again defeated the villain.
“That’s what you get, clown!” The young man said in hushed tone. He then closed his comic book and sat it atop the rest of his towering collection of comics. The teenager then walks over to his bed and slouches down on it. He grabs his phone and begins checking his social media accounts and texts.
Moments later, a loud explosion sounds outside the young man’s building. He peers out the window and see the building next to him caught in a roaring fire. Quickly, the young man grabs his shoes and swiftly secures them on his feet. He then runs out of his room and down to the street below. As he gets outside, he looks into the sky to see a large green man jumping into the side of a building.
“Holy…” The teenager gets cut off as rubble from the building he stood in front of fell in front of him. A loud screech pierces the air and the young man sees a small girl waving her arms out of a third story window. Without hesitation or care of his own body, the young man ran into the building and made his way up the stairs. He quickly found himself on the floor that he saw the young girl and began searching for her room. It didn’t take long for the girl to let out another scream that helped the daring teenager find her quicker. The brave young man kicked the door down to the apartment and quickly swept the girl off the ground.
“I’m going to get you out of here!” The young man yelled as he began running out of the room with the little girl tightly wrapped in his arms. The fire spread quickly in the room as the two narrowly escaped its confines. Moments later, the two emerged from the building’s door and the young man handed the little girl to a crying mother.
“Thank you, so much?” The mother asked as she kissed her little girl’s face.
“No thanks necessary.”
“What’s your name?”
“Rick. Rick Jones, ma’am…”
Out in the California wilderness near the Bodie ghost town we found this completely knackered caravan.

Major Talbot walked into Bruce Banner’s new cell. This cell, unlike the last one Banner found himself in, was sealed up like a bunker. In fact, Banner was almost certain it was a bunker. This meant that it would be ten times as difficult, even as the Hulk, to break out. Banner had no choice but to stay a prisoner.
”Enjoy the view?” Talbot said motioning to a completely grey wall.
”It’s nice. It keeps me calm.”
”So, I can only assume you haven’t enjoyed these past two weeks. Being in captivity and all.”
”It’s not bad. At least you guys have been feeding me.”
”Doctor Banner… Enough with the stalling. You know why I’m here.”
”Dang, I knew something was up.”
”Enough joking around, Doctor.” Talbot said as he locked the door. He walked over to Banner and smiled at him. ”How’d you do it?”
”…”
”C’mon, Banner. You know your silence only prolongs your stay.” Talbot said as he kneeled down to Banner’s level.
”…”
”Alright. Well, I guess I have no choice but to…” Talbot stopped talking as he quickly stood up and punched Banner on the cheek.

Before Banner could react, Talbot quickly punched Banner on the other cheek.

Banner dropped his head and gritted his teeth. Talbot grabbed Banner by the hair atop his head and made Banner look at him. Banner just closed his eyes and readied himself for the next blow. Talbot didn’t make Banner wait for long as he let go of Banner’s hair and swiftly punched his chin.

Banner fell backwards in his chair. Though he wanted to, Banner fought his urge to rip his restraints off and return every blow Talbot had made against him.

”Though my method is very childish and there are no doubt better methods to control my anger, I do not care. Because, if a person or event causes me to break that silence…”

Talbot quickly walked over to Banner and pulled him and his chair upright.

”Alright.” Talbot said as he grabbed a small key from his pocket. He quickly walked behind Banner and placed the key into its lock. The lock opened and Talbot quickly took the restraints off of Banner. ”You want to play the silent game?”

Banner dropped to the ground as Talbot tilted the chair upwards. Calmly, Banner flipped onto his back and looked at Talbot, who placed the restraints and the key into his pocket.
”Go ahead and play the silent game.” Quickly, Talbot kicked Banner’s legs and then his side. Banner just grunted and gritted his teeth.

”They deserve what’s coming for them…”

”How’d you do it?” Talbot yelled as he kicked Banner’s side repeatedly. ”How?”
Banner looked at Talbot and smirked.

”What? Something funny?” Banner didn’t answer. Instead he just got up and walked just inches away from Talbot. He stared at him intently and made his made a full smile.
”Ten…” Banner said under his breath as he quickly grabbed Talbot’s collar and began lifting him off the ground. A green tint began to slowly grew across Banner’s body.
”Go ahead! Prove you’re a monster!” As Talbot said that, the green tint faded from Banner’s body. Banner dropped Talbot to the ground and quickly dropped to the ground himself. He curled himself into a ball and began to cry. Flashes of memories flooded through his mind. He began to remember things that happened while he was the Hulk. Banner focused in on one single memory. A single second… A single blip. He saw a woman holding a little girl. Their expressions quickly changed to those of fear.
”I remember…”

”But then again, maybe I’m wrong. I’m just a man. I make mistakes, but I’ve been lucky to have the chance to fix those mistakes most of the times.”
I've seen lots of great photos of the hulks decaying in Hooe Lake and it's proved impossible to resist giving it a go even if the lighting conditions were a tad prosaic.

A custom project that I was asked to do by Jameson, seen here as the Hulk, who spotted my work on ImageKind or MySpace...I can't recall which. But I believe he then came here to my flickr stream, and spotted the version of hulk created by one of my contacts Jon-e, which is one of my favorites.
This was about a 6 hour project, split over two sessions. The most difficult part was probably the facial distortions, but I also found getting the right shade of green to be challenging as well.

Mine was a part of a wall with seyer, blavo and fevar.... hopefully the full joiner will be tomorrow, The idea was to have Hulk stepping out of his comic book window..... as the theme on our wall was marvel.
