Easily the hardest set of figures to let go. The Hulk is my favourite of all, especially King Hulk, Grey Hulk and the crazy Spider-Hulk.
Spider is strongest there is! Spider smash!
Trying something a little more different than usual....
Most people won't need an introduction to this rampaging mountain of muscle, The Incredible Hulk!
This is a plastic model kit originally built by me in the early 1960s and then rebuilt a couple of decades ago.
The real Hulk stands 8 feet tall and weighs over 1200 pounds. The plastic kit is about 8 inches high and weighs 8 oz.
STROBIST INFO: Lit with a single overhead 27" Larsen Reflectasol Soft Box on a long boom arm. An ancient Noavatron 440+ Power Pack fired a single bare bulb flash in the softbox.
A large white card was positioned on each side of the lens. A circular diffuser screen was balanced on the white cards to provide additional light control.
A pair of Yongnuo RF 603 wireless triggers were used to fire the strobe.
An old scenic calendar page was used as the background.
A Forgeworld Plague Hulk. This hideous creature is a stand in for either a Defiler or a Soul grinder ally for my Word Bearers host.
He took ages but it's only after looking at these photos have I noticed a few final details that I've missed! Darn.

This rare edition was a test publishing and there were only a few hundred ever produced and the publisher went out of business a few months later.

A terrible bootleg version of the 2012 Ultrabuild Hulk set. Bought mainly because it amused me sufficiently, and the green looks close enough to the lighter green of Lewa.

This is not my model. My brother Mike Asanuma created this model while we were hanging out this weekend.
The only thing modified is a small amount of white stickers for the mouth.

This was the first Hulk fig I ever bought since the 3 Mego versions from my childhood .
Seeing him in the package with the ripped muscles and veins all over with huge arms ... I had to get him !
Then the Marvel Legends figures just exploded on the action figure seen ....
After my first 15 or so ML figs, I stopped
collecting them. When I realized they were just going to go on forever with more figures !
