Entry for my Iron Builder with Lego Junkie. The secret ingredient for this round is Curved 4 x 1 Double No Studs.
Red Hulk, Green Hulk, Gray Hulk, what’s the difference between them?
There are many other versions of the Hulk but these are the three that get most confused by casual Hulk observers. Well let us shed a little light on the confusion. Perhaps you can you this info at swanky upscale cocktail parties to impress the ladies. “Excuse me ladies… Did you know the Red Hulk isn’t actually a manifestation of Bruce Banner.” Then watch as they ogle over your massive knowledge of post gamma mutation human variants. It’s sexy.
Gray Hulk (aka Joe Fixit):
The Gray Hulk (not the accidentally gray one in the earliest comics, that was gray because the colorist messed up) worked for a time as a Las Vegas enforcer called “Joe Fixit”. The Gray Hulk has average intelligence, although he occasionally displays knowledge and intellectual ability normally associated with Banner. He is cunning, crafty, hedonistic, arrogant, and distant, with a hidden conscience.
In most of Las Vegas appearances, he appears only at night. According to the Leader, the Gray Hulk persona is strongest during the night of the new moon and weakest during the full moon. This aversion to sun/moon light vanished when the Gray Hulk’s night-induced transformation trigger was later removed.
Although he is the smallest of the Hulks, the Gray Hulk towers over the average human. He prefers to dress in tailored suits. Joe Fixit’s base strength level is also the lowest of the three primary Hulk incarnations. While in a functionally calm emotional state, Joe Fixit is able to lift about 70 tons.
Savage Green Hulk:
The most common version of the Hulk, possesses the mental capacity and temperament of a young child and typically refers to himself in the third person. He often claims that he wants to be left alone. The Savage Hulk is usually depicted as green-skinned and heavily-muscled with a loping, ape-like gait. While in a functionally calm emotional state, or at least as calm as the Hulk can be, the Savage Hulk is capable of lifting about 100 tons.
Red Hulk:
Is NOT Bruce Banner, It is General Thaddeus E. “Thunderbolt” Ross is a fictional character appearing in books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an adversary of the Hulk, sometimes as a supervillain. Ross is a United States military officer, the father of Betty Ross, ex-father in-law of Glenn Talbot and the father in-law of Dr. Bruce Banner, who transforms into an immensely powerful monster known as the Hulk.
A veteran of several wars, Ross was the military head of the Gamma Bomb Project although he treated the project’s research head, Banner, with contempt. When Banner is caught in a test blast of the weapon and acquired his Hulk condition, Ross personally volunteers to kill the monster and pursues him with a growing obsessiveness. As he is not initially aware of the truth of Banner’s condition, Ross merely suspects he is a compatriot of the beast. However, when he does learn the truth, Ross hunts Banner as well. In 2008, Ross first appeared as the Red Hulk, into which he had been transformed in order to better combat his nemesis.

Yes Hulk does not like when someone talks sh##t about his momma :D and yes that Goblin saw it coming.
The brickbuild hulk was made quickly but I kinda like the result. A photo of Hulk alone is coming ;)
This is Magnús Bess as the incredible Hulk from the Marvel comics. Magnús was the only model I could ever have imagined using as the Hulk, he is the current Icelandic champion in bodybuilding and has pretty much monopolized that title in the last decade or so. I was therefore very relieved he was more than willing to play the part.
As with the others, Henný and Eva Hrönn did the makeup/bodypainting. I used 5 lights for this one, one honeycomb at the backround, two striplight softboxes on both sides behind him for rim/hairlighting. One big softbox on my right and an octobox on my left.
I created this KARtoon of Hulk Hogan 4 years ago when I was working on this idea of taking a real picture and twisting the daylights out of it.
With his recent passing I thought I would dig this rendering and repost it.

I went food shopping this morning and came across a 5 pack of coloured plastic folders for just under £2. Now although this might sound unremarkable it sparked the idea i could use them as gels instead of paying a fortune for the real thing, (an idea suggested to me a few times) so i grabbed the colourful little bargain! When i got home i had to make a makeshift holder out of a piece of wood, some shoe lace and a dog clip, the result was a rather impressive cheap mock up of a real gel lighting system, i am so going to look out for some more colours now, i love the effect. I did have to tweak the colours a little afterwards in photoshop, but for under £2 who can argue!!! Doing some exercises now before work, i seriously need to put some weight on!

A funny request I decided to try. Hulk proves that size doesn't matter, at least not versus gamma-powered muscles.

Finally got around to finish this superhero series I photographed almost three years ago, I have already posted photos of all the superheroes except one, but a couple of composites were missing, including this one of Hulk.
I did not process this image myself though, all credit goes to Hallmar "Mari". As with the previous image, this is Magnús Bess as the incredible Hulk from the Marvel comics. My wife Henný and Eva Hrönn did the makeup/bodypainting.
This is my first Bigfig and it was a nightmare to photograph! As for the concept of the bigfigs I like them. What I don't like is the limitation of the head and legs it really hurts people who want to use them for photography and animations. I also don't like that we got two Hulk's in this wave with the same expressions.
I was originally going to take a picture of it at an angle but he didn't look angry; this looks much powerful, the depth of field really captured the movement of the Hulk as if he's coming right out at you!

This was meant to be a Hulkbuster-inspired free build, I wanted to make a suit that fits a whole Iron Man minifig and is as close to that Hulk big fig's height as possible. And I didn't want it to look like a ball with short legs and arms, so using that dome piece from TLG's Hulkbuster was never an option. I kinda reached my goals, but the build thrived into a rather big scene, that vegetation was like 90% of work. It took me two days and like six different renders (both with POV-Ray and Bluerender) to make a proper image!! And you know, that last one from Bluerender took 6(!) hours when it should take no more than 6 minutes! Oh well, I was out anyway...
Here are some extra images-"leftovers" of the same scene:

Recently got the three Figma Avengers (Thor, CA, IM), then I found that the only Hulk figure I have looks too plain compare to those, so I decided to give him a wash to give him more details, he looks better now doesn't he?
A year and a half. A year and a half and the world has all but forgotten what happened in downtown New York. That’s freaking ridiculous if you ask me. Dozens of people were affected by the “Hulk’s” actions. Hundreds by proxy. The media has painted Banner as a man to celebrate. “Oh he helped clean up the mess.” Fat load of bull I say. “Oh but he wasn’t in control of his actions.” Yeah he’s probably lying. Guilty people do that.
Carl Creel sat atop a building across from Bruce Banner’s apartment complex. He focused on one window in particular. That window belonged to Banner himself. That was Creel’s target. Carl pressed his hand against the building ledge. His skin turned grey and rock hard. He then stepped backwards a few feet.
It’s time to make that monster pay.
Creel ran to the edge of the building and leapt of the ledge. He flew through the air and crashed into Banner’s window.
”What the he…” Banner was cut off as Creel jumped at him with his stone fist. Before Creel could strike, Bruce ducked and rolled to the window. ”If you’re going to fight me, please take it away from the city.”
Creel charged at Banner and tackled him out of the window. The two quickly fell to the streets below. Pedestrians screamed in terror at the sight they saw before them. Much to his displeasure, Banner was slowly changing into his much hated self. He could feel his muscles growing with every ticking second.
”Please.” Banner muttered out as Creel stood up and grabbed Banner by the neck. Creel pulled his arm back and pressed it up against a steel post. He then flung Banner into the air and punched him half a block away. More pedestrians gasp and scream as this event plays out in front of them. Creel slowly gets to Banner as the latter tries to suppress his anger.
”You’ll pay for what you did to this city.” Creel said as he again threw Banner into the air and punched him far away. Carl repeated this until the two were at the outskirts of the city. As Creel once again got to Banner, the former pressed his hand up against a brick wall and got ready to strike the latter again. Before Creel could even pull his fist back, Banner had already gone. He was no longer in control of his actions. The Hulk had taken the reins.
”C’mon! Hulk… Smash!” Creel yelled out as he punched the Hulk’s face. This was a mistake as this only angered the monster more. The Hulk was able to grab Creel and throw him a good half mile further away from the city. Before Creel could land on the ground, Hulk was already there to catch him and throw him to the ground. A large crater formed in the ground around Creel’s body. Hulk then began to repeatedly punch Creel further into the ground. Creel slowly brushed his other hand against his brick hand to transform both his fists into brick. ”That’s right!”
Creel yelled as he launched himself up towards Hulk’s head. This move was successful as he was able to strike Hulk in the head and knock him back a bit.
”Hulk smash!” The monster yells out as it pulls back its fist for another blow to Creel.
””That’s right!”
