More stunning, forested coastline and a prettier, quieter beach than at Ecola State Park. Loved the waterfall onto the beach that we found just around the headland (after a quick dash between the waves on a receding tide - gotta be careful not to get stuck when the tide comes in!).
Tilla-Durieux-Park runs south from Potsdamer Platz to the Landwehrkanal, and is designed to be like a giant grass-covered sofa for the city. And on a sunny spring day, that is how the city treats it. Bisecting the park is a giant sculpture consisting of five 20-meter long seesaws (conforming to my informal motto for Berlin: "Sure, why the hell not?"), which were just screaming out for a big hug.

When COVID came around, the first time, my wife was given a number of these small "pocket hugs" ... they were based upon the fact you couldn't be too close to anyone and therefore you handed one of these "wee pocket hugs" to family and friends!
