More stunning, forested coastline and a prettier, quieter beach than at Ecola State Park. Loved the waterfall onto the beach that we found just around the headland (after a quick dash between the waves on a receding tide - gotta be careful not to get stuck when the tide comes in!).
Caterina is Valentina's second daughter. In this photo she's hugging her mom after the thesis discussion.

Here in the real estate department we aren't known for being particularly friendly or hug-y so just to be a little bratty Katy and I hung a FREE HUGS sign on Lisa's desk...it started a rotation on the desk of whoever happened to not be in the office that day...well it's been on T's desk for a while and was recently vandalized...if you ask me...it's like a bazillion times cooler now. Who doesn't want a Free Thug?
i waited there for her, and she thought i was 700 miles away. after not seeing each other for a year i think this would be the last place she expected me to be. which is what made it a perfect surprise.
