Elliott and his friend Evan use this sign when they want to hug each other from across the yard. We picked it up, immediately.
My two sweethearts. One of the many things I love about them is how affectionate they are with each other. For a 1 year old and 4 year old, they love to hug and cuddle. It is too cute and I captured this one on camera.

A piece showing that some of those poor misunderstood Hoodies are little s**ts who need a good foot up the arse not a hug.
Tory leader David (Dave) Cameron says we should go out and hug one. Yeah nice one Dave try hugging one without your minders and dozens of journalists around you. Twat!
SOLD
Thanks to all of you who emailed about getting your hands on another Hug a Hoodie unfortunately this is an edition of 3 and will not be created in this fashion again. One belongs to a Flickr member and they can tell you who they are or not, one is owned by another private collector and the third one is owned by me dear old ma. There will be others in the series but as for this one, sorry.
I may be tempted to turn it into a limited edition print if enough people are interested.
Cheers for all your kind words.
More than fifty moms, dads, kids and grandparents braved the rain Wednesday to show their support for the Midwives of Centre Medical and Surgical Associates in State College, PA. The midwives, whose practice is being shut down by the board of CMSA so that they can hire more obstetricians, were celebrated with signs and balloons and a big shout of "thank you" when one of the midwives came out from her office. The H.U.G., or Humans United in Gratitude, was planned and sponsored by the State College Birth Policy Coalition and "birthcircle: stories of positive birth," two local birth activist groups that support the Midwifery Model of Care.
People who support midwives can write letters to both CMSA and Geisinger, in response to this situation.
Copies of the form letters are available by writing to: midwives.equal.options@gmail.com
If any chipmunk needs a hug, it's this little guy. He seems to have a fresh injury every week. His right eye only opens halfway because of an old battle-scar around it.
Update : Finally, the little warrior Ted the Chipmunk didn't emerge from his burrow after the very harsh winter of 2010/11 and is much missed.
I imagine the burrow where Ted lies is like Tutankhamun's tomb - full of hoarded tasty treasure that will see Ted easily through the afterlife! :-)
