Every year on January 21st I ask everyone I know to take a moment and HUG your children (any loved one will do, including animals) in honor of my daughter, Cortney. She would be turning 23 today but at the young age of 14 she passed away. I try to remind everyone on her birthday that life is short and you never know what the future holds.......!!

Continuing the photo dump.
This is an older picture but it's so cute I couldn't not post it. Alucard521 and I were taking pictures of Ai and Nadeko in my living room and I made them hug!
Nadeko's giant head will not fit into that tiny DollHeart bonnet but I think we made it work pretty well.
Disclaimer: this is not an accurate representation of the height difference between an VOLKS SD10 and a Dollmore Zaoll, Nadeko's shoes are significantly taller than Ai's are.
Nadeko is a VOLKS SDG Standard Megu (black hair), she's wearing Ai's DollHeart LD000109 set and her shoes are LeekeWorld LS-256_G in Black.
Ai is a Dollmore Zaoll Basic Dreaming Luv (pink hair), she's wearing Nadeko's DollHeart Cherry Romance set and her shoes are from Dollmore. She belongs to my friend, Alucard521.
Both have their default company face-ups, eyes and wigs.
My daughter Cortney passed away at the age of 14 years old and today is her birthday (the big 18 years old) and to keep her lively spirit with us I ask everyone that I can think of to HUG their children(parents, spouse, pets, favorite teddy bear anything will work) in
Cortney's name.
She inspired so many people in her short years on earth, I hope I can carry that on for her.
She was wheelchair bound her entire life, but she dreamed of dancing, so I can see her leaping today.

I used the Ellen Mccarn basic yoke pattern. The grey with pinkdot featherwale corduroy is by Fabric Finders, and the pink is Amy Butler's basic solids.The smocking plate is a Little Memories-Hug me Hippos.
I revised the sleeves by taking out some the fullness and if I made this again I would add some more length to the sash in the back.

I've been trying to make some things and nothing's working right and i just end up with bits and pieces of crap lying all around. I'm hoping something brilliant is germinating inside my subconscious somewhere, but I think I probably just need a break! :-D
