My best friend Tricia sent me this card and it arrived today. It was the perfect day to get it as life whole-heartedly sucks right now. I know many of you are having difficulties as well, so I wish a big, awkward 8-armed hug for us all. Also… many of you have emailed or sent cards or donated money, and I may not have responded. I am paddling through life, keeping my head just above water right now, and I apologize for being out of touch.
Please know that I appreciate you all so much.

Just a little photo shoot in the garden. Amelie was the model today and she was enjoying it very much. Cheeky little thing, she is watching the movie Cars at the moment....for the 1000000000 time. Her favourite is Sally or Mater or Lightning McQueen...depending when you ask.

This grapevine beetle had a very interesting personality.
I took the photo with an extended 35mm lens.
The third and last card for today is my favorite. I was inspired by the color combo of SSS Flickr challenge #17, and by the beautiful photo from Fusion Challenge - fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.pt/2015/04/fusion-happy-days....
Again, I’m also joining the SSS Wednesday Challenge “Clean and Simple”, showcasing Hero Arts products - www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-....
