Tomorrow Pip and I have to hop on a train to bring civilization back to the land behind the mountains. Who knows what evil creatures have started lurking around without us taking care of business :-)
Because little Henry has to stay behind to protect our mommie from possible duck attacks, today we spent the day doing what our Henry likes second best after looking at old books: napping.
We all curled up tight and Pip and I hugged our little koala friend until he was gasping for air :-)
Soon though we will all be reunited when Henry visits us in Switzerland hooray :-)
it goes without saying, its not my photo

"I will not play tug o' war. I'd rather play hug o' war. Where everyone hugs instead of tugs, Where everyone giggles and rolls on the rug, Where everyone kisses, and everyone grins, and everyone cuddles, and everyone wins."
Shel Silverstein
One of my favorite Conversation hearts.
Especially when I'm hugged by a loved one. :P

Shantelle, youngest duaghter, gives her tandem skydive instructor a big hug immediately after they land on Suttons Beach.
Shantelle first asked if she could skydive when she was 14. Dad said wait until you are 16. He succesfully put off the day for 6 years, Shantell forgot about it until she is 20. Now she proudly proclaims she will do it gain.
Life is just too stressful as a parent sometimes.
C'mon....give Santa a big hug! lol This turned out to be a very labor intensive project, but the end product seems to be worth it. He is actually a stuffed doll, made with felt, which I had to stiffen after the doll was put together. It took several coats of the stiffener with drying time in between, then a couple painting coats, then the gimp was applied, and the gold painting done. Then I had to attach his beard and put on his face, lol. Last, but not least, he got a glittery gold star to hold.
For the first HA Flickr group blog hop!! :)

Friend, Jennifer R. organized a FREE HUGS for Humanity on the anniversary of 911 for a group of us at Dundas Square. Presenting a set of photos I shot of the event (no pix of me hugging folks here, but, I did hug well over 100 people, I'm guessing, in the 2 hours I was there). Got lots wonderful comments and congratulations (one beligerent who said the Bible forbids strangers hugging. I challenged him on it, but gave up pretty quickly when he got even more irate). Overheard someone say, "Why would I hug an old man with a sign." However, got mostly warmth and expressions of gratitude. Enjoy!
