One of the cyclists at Hub on Sunday. This is entirely processed in RAW. The dust is all from my sensor, which I should clean but actually adds to this shot I think.
This is the hub of a machine abandoned when a farmer switched from horse-drawn equipment to tractors. It has been rusting on the edge of a field ever since.
We recently had the pleasure of creating the city of Singapore's Skyline for the brand new LEGO Singapore office Hub.

Dreamland was created, by John Henry Iles in 1919, from the 'Hall by the Sea' an amusement park dating back to 1880. Dreamland was inspired by Coney Island.
Inspired by Coney Island which he had visited in 1906, Iles renamed the park Dreamland and initiated work on the construction of a Scenic Railway roller-coaster in 1919 having purchased the European rights to the Scenic Railway from inventor and patent holder LaMarcus Adna Thompson. The roller-coaster opened to visitors in 1920 with great success, carrying nearly half a million riders in its first year. Iles was quick to install other rides including a smaller coaster called the Whirlwind Racing Coaster, the Joy Wheel, the River Caves, Dreamland Miniature Railway and The Whip. A ballroom was constructed on the site of the roller-skating rink in 1920 and in 1923 Iles built his Variety Cinema on the site. In 1926 Iles undertook the construction of the Cliftonville Lido swimming pool on the seafront. Between 1920 and 1935 he invested more than £500,000 in Dreamland, adding new attractions and facilities and ultimately in the construction of the impressive Dreamland Cinema complex in 1934, now a grade 2 listed building. John Henry Iles retired in 1938 and the business was handed over to his son Eric.

The park was renovated in the 1970s, sold to the Bembom Brothers from Holland in 1981, later sold on to another amusement park owner in 1996, but finally closed in 2005. The future of the park was uncertain, until a restoration project began in 2010, with the park re-opening in 2015, following a major overhaul and reconstruction.
Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus)
The tall bell tower, called the Valley Fort Tower (Talburgtor) was built as one of the original gate watch towers on the very 1st protective wall surrounding Old Town Munich. In 1310 the first sections of Old Town Hall were built with a grand hall connected the watch tower as the City’s main government office in 1395. The tower and Town Hall were given a mutual castle-like makeover to show Munich’s power in the 1400’s when the square was a major hub in the salt trade.

i was invited to a porsche dealership to take photos for a friend.. porsche was unveiling the new 2012 911 carrera.. was kinda fun... alas...this picture is from a spyder..had the most awesome convex mirror hub caps...( couldn't resist the 'ol hub cap selfie)
wish it was a better background, but this was the porsche dealership service area .. oh well

The new hub caps were fitted this morning and look stunning set against the period correct wheel rim and silver brake drum hidden behind.
The largest coal breaker constructed in North America, the Huber Breaker dominates the landscape of the little town of Ashley, PA. The breaker was used to break large chunks of anthracite coal into smaller chunks for use as home heating fuel.
